Which Jazz player has the most to prove this season?

Kanter has most to prove. He has the most question marks. He is the only one of the core that has the chance to be the best or worst of the core.

I think so too... Kanter could make an huge impact or continue to struggle. I do not think that he will have a solid season. He will be very good, or very bad.

Easy. Hayward. And it's not even close. And thus would have been a good thread for a poll.

Hayward has a lot to prove because of his huge paycheck. I really want to see if he can live up to it, or if he will draw the ire of Jazz fans.
Kanter needs to prove he has what it takes and I think the coaching change is a huge benefit for him.
Burks has the biggest opportunity to prove what he is worth this year. For whatever reason Corbin didn't like and didn't use him very well at all. I think he will break out and prove out he's a starting caliber SG. Snyder seems excited to use him and Burks has the attitude to take over a game

There are plenty of valid options...

Gordon Hayward - earn ya paycheck son
Trey Burke - can you be our floor general of the future?
Derrick Favors - will you show the ability to be a 20/10 guy who defends, or 15/8 and inconsistent?
Alec Burks - can you be a legitimate 20 point scorer, and our go-to guy? or just provide a scoring punch as 6th man?
Enes Kanter - are you a legit starting center in this league? or do you still play like your 3 years away?

I think my answer is Trey Burke because if he can't show improvement, I will be concerned because a game-changing PG is a necessity for a championship-contending squad.

What do you guys think?

Burke?? You don't need a great pg to contend.

For my money it's Hayward and Favors.

Give me a contender that hasn't had one... The Bulls teams had Jordan and Pippen who are 2 of the all time best, who essentially served as PGs down the stretch.

I was thinking, Exum seems like a player that will be much better in Snyder's offense than Burke would be. I wouldn't be surprised to see him starting after a month or two.

Quin's system seems to be predicated on EVERYONE in the team distributing and letting the ball find the open man. If that ball finds Exum open on the 3pt line, he really needs to knock it down to be effective.

If he consistently clanks it off the rim, he won't be a popular man in Salt Lake next season no matter how much speed/defense he brings to team.

Everyone and it's not even close.

Seriously, it's another indicator for how awesome this season will be to watch. All of our main players have a lot to prove and they are under a coach who is determined to blend them together in a great team concept. Definitely the most anticipated season since the 09-10 season.

This is really hard to tell. So many candidates for many reasons.,

My top list goes like;

1) Burks
2) Hayward
3) Gobert
4) Burke
5) Kanter
