Which players do you want in a trade involved Favors?

Actually i like Favors and his defensive game but as long as we can't trade our guys sap and al, i sometimes thought to trading favors

For example i like to give Favors and Jefferson for Cp3. I know that Clips don't agree but...

Are there any player that can be tradeable for Favors in your head

Is this a "Clown Question?"

Seriously, trading Favors at this point would be a major step backwards and suggest a survivor mentality rather than a a building mentality.

Just don't see that kind of short term thinking from the Jazz.

I would never trade Favors... He's going to be a star in the league. 5 years from now he'll be top 15 in NBA rank.

anybody is tradeable though. if he is going to be top 15, that means there are 14 other guys we'd have to at least consider.

now, would those guys every be made available? probably not, which is why you rarely see superstars traded unless there is contract drama or chemistry problems. but if riley called up and offered lebron-for-derrick, i can guarantee you there would be some discussion.

If LeBron is offered for Favors, you take that and run. No discussion. In fact, you should always have a trade form filled out with LeBron's name on it, so within 30 seconds of the trade being offered, you have filled in your player's name and faxed it.

A Favors trade would be highly complicated to pull off. But since we're not going to get a Lebron for him and we're not going to trade him for Darko, here's a list of names that would at least be in the ballpark for a Favors deal. BTW, I think both teams say no to all these deals.

Irving
Cousins
Harden
E. Gordon

for the record, i wouldn't trade him for any of these guys.

i don't consider him untradable... but i do think the only guys you'd want to consider trading him for are guys whose teams wouldn't consider trading THEM.

Whats the point of trading Favors? It is going to be hard to find player who is better at what he does long term. Lets assume you trade him and keep Kanter, then you need somebody who compliments his skill set. Getting CP3 for Favors and Jeferrson makes us no better. That leaves us with Kanter and Millsap front line... that is a joke. Sorry. Now if Clipps would throw in DeAndre Jordan it would make a bit more sense.

Favors' value is still going up, way way up, so now really isn't a rational time to trade him.

New Orleans traded Chris Paul for Eric Gordon, Aminu and a pick, didn't they? Favors should soon have more value than that.

I'd rather have Favors than Blake Griffin because I think Favors impacts the game more on both ends. Cousins/Favors could go either way, but I'd lean towards Favors for his defense and motor.

I think the only guy KOC would have traded Favors for last draft was Anthony Davis.

I would NEVER trade Favors for a PG not named CP3, and even then, I dont know...PG for big man? meh.
Only one I would think about is COusins, his skill set is unreal.

Curse you berkkobe for writing such spam
Suggesting a trade of the great “Favors- I- am.”

We must not trade him any day
We must not let him get away

We must not send him East or West
O
f all our big men, he’s the best

We must not send him near or far
Our one true light, our future Star

Swapping Favors for Kyrie Irving?
Cleveland’s interests you’d be a’ serving.

To the Clippers for CP3?
Please go away...just let him be!

Cousins or Harden or Gordon, Eric?
None are worth the almighty Derrick.

So to the mods I say please shutter this thread
The people who spout such nonsense are brain-dead.

FYI, the only one on the list that I'd pull the trigger on would be Irving.
