which players do you want jazz to get? keep it realistic

I'd rather see DWill or Milos instead of Hill.

I just don't want to be stuck on the kind of money that Hill is asking for.

NYK might do this only if Jazz absorbs Noah's plus maybe Courtney Lee's contract AND their choice of who to get from the Jazz.
Plus cash.
And draft picks.

Let's stop this **** right now - there is NFW The Knicks are trading Porzingis. If you lived in the NY area like I do you'd know they're making him the face of the franchise. Every ad, promo and piece of marketing material has his goofy mug on it.

The Jazz can offer to absorb Noah, Carmelo and Allen Houston's contract - it ain't happening.

"realistic" can go kick rocks.

Jazz FO loaded the deck and now it is time to swing for the damn fences. Jazz have made themselves into a contender. No more settling and no more games.

The stigma of the old Jazz is gone.

I would like to see us go all in on a proven talent and all-star. CP3, Butler, even Westbrook could all fill the bill. If they could hold onto Rudy and Hayward and literally clean house to get a third star this off-season we could then build around that and make some serious noise. A CP3 alongside Hayward (who is way better than Griffin IMO) and Gobert (who is still not even in sight of his potential) would be devastating, especially surrounded with specialty guys (3&D wings, rebounders, defensive stallwarts, blue collar guys like Ingles, etc.) A team like that would have taken the Warrios to at least 6 or 7 games with a legit chance at winning it.

My dudes! This the type of talk I need to see. Not this make the Jazz the new Clippers nonsense all these other casual New York Knicks style fans want.

I don't think Mills or Simmons are going anywhere either. They'll definitely re-sign with SAS.

Caught up with @Jabari Parker at the @WISportsAwards last night. Said he's eyeing the All-Star Break for a return.

thats just before the trade deadline!

Would love to get Robert Covington and use him as a stretch 4... leads the league in deflections and shoots a lot of threes... didn't shoot it great this year but good enough. Give him some more floor spacing and I think he'd be great.

I value RPM a lot and he is one of the best defensive players in the league using that measure. Combine the league leader in deflections with the best rim protector in the league and plus defenders at the other spots and I think we can suffocate teams.

I do think Tyson Chandler would be the perfect back up big for the Jazz. He would be great for 15-20 minutes a game. He is getting older and his contract is pretty high for a backup Center. He still has 13 million next year and the year after when he will be 36. I am sure we could swap him for Burks. This depends on what other moves we make.

He would be a decent pickup. I wonder if they would take the GS or OKC pick for him. He will be unrestricted after next season but he would be a huge value contract on the roster which we might need.

He would be awesome. You could poor man's duplicate a Gobert/Favors tandem with Chandler/Bolomboy off the bench. It would be amazing. Unfortunately, the only way we can do that is if we lose Hill or Ingles. Burks has to go for us to avoid the tax if we bring all three top FAs back, so that would preclude Chandler, unfortunately. I'd trade Burks and Lyles for him and ask for a 2nd rounder and I think it gets it done.we could significantly sustain big man injuries with him on the bench. Not being able to afford that actually pisses me off.

If we miraculously got Hill at <20 and Ingles at <10 then I think we could pull it off.

Sixers are ready to start winning and they see him as a key role player. They are no longer accumulating assets and I doubt they are interested in moving him. What would we offer? A late first would not do it.

Yeah, his contract is a bit too much. I would not trade Burks and Lyles for him that is too much. This would allow us to waive Diaw though and not worry about bringing back Withey. We need to get someone at backup center who can take minutes from Gobert and is more reliable than Favors. Plus if Favors is healthy I prefer him at PF he is not a good center.

It might. He is an asset but he is an unrestricted FA after next season and they have bigger priorities to retain than him. They will loose him for nothing at the end of next year if they dont move him. The bigger question is what other teams would offer. Other teams might be willing to part with more than a late first but I am not sure about that for a 1 year rental.

I want CP3, Porzingis and PG13.
Let me explain you why it is realistic?
Well anything may happen in life..

I would rather have lebron, steph, and Anthony davis.

New York would put dynamite all over Madison Square Garden and blow Porzingis and themselves up before trading him. He would be nice next to Gobert though, I agree.
