Maybe because her music was inspirational or rather something someone liked. Not like she was just doing drugs all get life. You hold spite for drug addicts I see.

kinda like one "junkie" dies millions cry. millions die off hunger no-one cries kinda stuff.
How about you feel just as sad for this one person that died as you feel for all of the other people that die.
Why do you care if one died of hunger, another in a car crash, and another from a drug addiction. They are all sad.
The saddest part is probably that she lived with a drug addiction and had other issues.
Just because someone creates a thread about her, does not mean they don't also feel sad for the other people that die.

My very good friend is a past member of Santana (vocalist/guitar). He dated Whitney for about a year at a time I was a best friend (I met her several times) and she was GREAT. Down to earth and what you would hope for her to be .. I have a TON more detail .. but won't share in case anyone actualy cares.
She went down hill from there .. sad .. I hate it .. hate it ... she coulda been.

So if she had died from starvation would you be acting the same way?
whatever weaknesses or issues she may have been dealing with, she had a beautiful voice and made some phenomenal recordings
