Young boys don't excite me. Sorry Jako.
I think the implication is that he'll be an undrafted player that turns out to be really solid (maybe a starter somewhere). Not that he will be the same player that Wes is.Clark isn't the next Wesley Matthews. Two completely different players. Matthews is bigger and played at a higher competition. In hindsight, I'm surprised Matthews was overlooked in the draft.
Clark is a great shooter from a small school. he has some skills to build on, but I wish people would stop comparing him to guys like Wes Matthews and Danny Green. Those guys had much better pedigrees coming out of college IMO. The one thing he's pretty great at is shooting the ball. That only gets you so far in the NBA if ypu don't do more than that.
He's shown that he should have been a 2nd round pick at least. He's getting his shot, but the odds are against him ever making much of an impact. That said, I still like him better than John Lucas III and cheese, but less than Wes Matthews (who I wish the Jazz would have kept instead of acquiring Raja Bell.)

That's certainly more reasonable, and it is a possibility. If anything, Clark reminds me of Jeremy Lin without the "Linsanity" hype. Both were small school guys who excelled on their level of competition, but were overlooked in the draft despite having some real skills and talent to work with. Both guys seem to be hungry to work hard and prove themselves. Both guys have less than ideal body types for NBA success, but are scrappy enough to work past that. And both guys made the most of Summer League play to get their NBA opportunity.I think the implication is that he'll be an undrafted player that turns out to be really solid (maybe a starter somewhere).
