This thread stinks.

But at least you had an idea, which is more than I can say for myself. So I'll be supportive instead of a prick.

I'm 30, blatantly white, and a recluse. Ok, probably not good enough.

Born in Umatilla county hospital(Hermeston, OR). Moved to Utah in 85 or so. Fourth of Five children. Went to Tooele High, where had it not been for band I would have fallen into obscurity. At the end of high school, I made some terrible life decisions. The biggest of which was signing into a car payment, which I felt prevented me from going to college. After accruing customer service and troubleshooting skills, I developed the ability to cut through peoples **** to get things done. Now I work for a healthcare company as a software analyst doing any number of things, but mostly telling people their decisions are stupid. I'm unmarried, but I live with a fiance. I like to look at the long term picture, but have proven the ability to break down reality enough to make changes to reach those goals.

I love long walks on the beach. ... that was supposed to read hiking to mountain lakes. I also enjoy fishing, cooking, drinking, basketball and WoW(at least when I don't hate it).

I will say that the older I get the more interest I have in cooking. Not baking but cooking. Recently I have picked up and nailed recipes for beef stroganoff, swedish meatballs, spaghetti carbonara and honey mustard pork chops. Next on my list are meatloaf, crock pot chili and better burgers (not just hamburger meat).

Last night I suateed some bacon with onions and minced garlic and it was amazingly good. That is how I will sautee bacon from now on.

Was looking for a burger recipe (found one) and happened upon a recipe for Zuppa Toscana (potato, sausage and spinach soup) that I am going to try. Love that soup at Olive Garden.

19 (going on 20) year old Canadian. Born in Germany. Parents escaped Kosovo during the early 90s when my dad lost his job with the state as an engineer (back when it was still Yugoslavia). The escaping-process is a very tl;dr story, so lets just say its a miracle that my family even made it to Germany, let alone immigrate to Canada.

I was around 3ish when I moved here. Parents didn't know if we would move back to Germany one day (LOTS of family there, almost none here) so me and my two brothers went to German school throughout our years of public education.

Currently going into my 3rd year of University, @ the University
of Alberta. Genetics major (shoutout to ma Boi Zulu) and an Organic Chemistry minor.

My MCAT is in 2 weeks time-- so I have aspirations to get into medical school. My marks are okay, my work ethic could still always be improved upon.

I'm 6'4", lanky as shizz, and 'olive-complexioned'. I, along with my
family, are Muslim much like (ballpark) 70% of Kosovo-Albanians.

Enjoy soccer, basketball, fashion, reading everything, and wasting ours on this time-zapping Internet community.

I'm a pretty nice dude too. Thank the 'rents I s'pose

^ still single btw, unless Scat sets me up with one of his daughters

I'm Chris, with an L. Born 1985 in New Jersey. My family moved to STG in 89 and I've been here ever since. Grew up in a big mormon family, middle sibling of 5. Got my GED and dropped out of high school when I was 16. I've never done well in stuctured learning enviroments, and couldn't stand being around stupid teenagers all day. Immediately started working full time at 16. My best friend OD'd when I was 18, which hit me hard. I spent the next 2 years addicted to heroin. Ended up homeless for about 3 months, and finally ended up in jail. Realized if i didn't stop I wasn't going to live much longer. After getting released I went right into rehab, for 18 months. Learned a lot about myself and what I wanted to get out of life. Had my first child at 20 (surprise!) and that changed everything. Met my wife when I was 21. We dated for 2 years before getting married. We spent 5 years as husband and wife. Earlier this year she left me, still trying to peice it all together, probably won't ever know why. I'm now a single father to 4 beautiful children who mean the world to me. Nothing will ever compare to the joy I get out of being a dad. It's my life. These days I'm an automotive technician, have been for 7 years. I find the work challenging and rewarding, and the moneys not bad. I'm in a great place in life, and enjoy every day for what it is. I love playing video games, tennis, basketball, snowboarding, wakeboarding, watching the jazz, riding my motorcycle, drinking beer, and spending time on here.

That's me.

My sister is a biology major too. She is going into genetics though. She says she wants to be a genetic counselor blah blah blah whatever that means… she used to post on jazzfanz all the time but stopped.. idk why.

I'm 24 years old. 6'3'' and around 210 lbs. I have black hair, rather white/brown skin color and blue eyes. I speak French, English, German, Swiss German, Turkish and some Arabian. I was born in Switzerland but I have Arabian origin. My dad has passed three years in Turkey because of his job and my girlfriend is from Turkey. That's also why I have a mancrush on Kanter but I was never a big fan of Okur. I have the Bachelor Degree of Law, I studied at the University of Zurich (where Kanter's dad did his Master/Doctor). I will travel and work a year and then I want to start my Master. I live near to Zurich.

I love Basketball and I started to love the Jazz back in 98 where I played NBA Live 99 with Stockton and Malone. I like literature and history. I like cooking and working out. I have an interest for different countries, religions, cultures and so on. I prefer to drink something in a bar or eating something with friends, chilling and watching movies instead of loud and superficial parties. I'm quite a lazy person.

My wife fixes that from time to time, and it's great! She uses kale instead of spinach, though--the kale is a little more robust, so it doesn't get all wilty in the soup.
