Who do you hope that the Jazz DON'T draft?

Oof, talk about out of whack expectations. Jameer Nelson was probably the 9th-10thish best player taken in his draft (2004). Being upset at getting a Jameer Nelson level player at #9 = lets be real here. Obviously Jameer is a flawed player, and there have been much better people picked up at #9, but still. Besides assets did we surrender really? Shabazz? ... we easily bought a later pick to replace the one we gave up.

Interesting thread. I still like Trey Burke for the Jazz. I'm glad we didn't take McCollum.

I have to say I'm shocked at how MCW is playing.

Moving up to #9 in the draft was absolutely the right thing to do. The only question is whether TB3 was the right pick. Overall, I still think so. The problem with the Jazz right now is that they don't know what they are. They're not a running team, a shooting team, a defense-first team or much of a system team.

Their problem is coaching. They have no identity because Corbin has no identity. They have not developed the young talent because Corbin doesn't know how to develop talent.

The problem is coaching.

Doug McDermott of Creighton leads my list of please don't do that. He reminds me of Hayward and we don't need another. Watching a Creighton game on the tube the other day the announcer referred to him as the best player in the nation. I cringed.

Lol @ y'all WANTING to surrender assets to get Burke.

UGLI a better GM then all yall IMHO
