Personally, the two teams i love to see the Jazz beat are the Lakers and the Nuggets. I especially love it when the Jazz beat the Nuggets. Other than the joy that comes from getting the Win, I don't really care when they beat the Rockets or the Blazers. As far as when they are palying an eastern conference team, it's always good to see them beat the Celtics or the Heat. Of course, i imagine most people agree

I agree with the Lakers and Nuggets. I would only add the extremely overrated Knicks.

As a side note the Spurs are fun to beat only if their big 3 are playing.

Lemme rank this:

1) Lakers. No matter the year, not matter how good they are. I love watching us beat them more than anything else. Sadly: anyone wanna remind us what our record is against Nash-led NBA teams? Im willing to bet that it aint very nice.
2) Nuggets. Similar to above, only now the media seems to think that they are superior to us. And it pisses me off. A very close second
3) Heat. Similar to Lakers
4) Rockets.
5) Wolves.
6) Clippers
7) Spurs.
8) Mavs. When is the last team we've beaten this team in a season series?
9) Tankers
10) Thunder
11) Nets
12) Meh on everyone else

I must saw that after last season, The Clippers sky rocketed up my list. it's similar to What Dalamon just said about the Nuggets. The Media thinks the Clippers and the Nuggets are hands down better teams and I think that is lame. the Clippers might be a little bit better than us right now, but still same tier in my opinion. In the West, there is the Lakers, Thunder, and Spurs. after that, it's the rest of the playoof teams, and then the non playoff teams.

Also, I should have put the Mavs as an option. I kind of respected the Mavs and Dirk after they won their title, but then the whole incident where Dirk Slapped the ball out of Favors hands put a sour taste in my mouth. I don't like Dirk. I think he's kind of lame.

A win is a win. Obviously, it's nice to get a victory over a division rival like the Nuggets or against one of the top teams like the Thunder, Lakers or Heat.

On the flip side, what drives me craziest is a loss to a lottery team, especially late in the season at home.

My Buddy and I still joke about last season when the Jazz lost to the Raptors in triple ot at home... :/

I voted Lakers but the Nuggets and Rockets are a close second and third.

In games when Nash has played 25 or more minutes against the Jazz, the Jazz have gone 21-27, including playoff games when Nash was with Dallas. https://bkref.com/tiny/zpaCK

The last time the Jazz won the season series against the Mavs was pretty recent: the 2009-10 season. The Jazz took the season series 2-1 even though 2 of the games were played in Dallas.

Beating the Lakers is definitely more satisfying to watch.

But 3 of the last 4 meetings with LeBron James were absolutely incredible games.

2010: Jazz vs Cavs, Sundiata Gaines hits game winner.
2011: Jazz rally from +20pts down, Millsap gets 11 points in the last 28 seconds to send the game to OT for a Utah win.
2012: Devin Harris gets Utah's last possession, gets an And One which puts Utah up by one, LeBron James passes to Udonis Haslem for the last shot, Haslem misses.

I also like seeing us shred the T'Wolves because I think Love is horridly overrated and I enjoy Millsap exposing his terrible defense.

For me:

1 Lakers - Kobe + Dwight = smug sob
2 Heat - always a good win
3 Clips - CP = smug sob
4 Nuggets - think they're better than we are
5 Knicks - Carmello
6 Warriors - misguided fans think they're better than we are
7 Nets - DWill didn't know how good he had it
8 Thunder - Division rival
