Between Dec. 25 and Feb. 6, teams will be able to dress and play 13 players instead of the usual 12. After Feb. 6, teams can dress 13 players but only 12 can play.

So since I'm a total dumbass, to be clear I'm guessing after the 6th that means that 13 guys can all be dressed, but once you get to the point where you've played 12 guys the 13th guy who didn't get checked in automatically becomes ineligible for the rest of the game?

I actually like that concept and would love to see the NBA keep it for hell, 14 guys to be dressed but only allow 12 different guys to check in.
