Here's Player C for fun: 47.6% fg, 83% ft, 6.55 fta's, 12.8rpg, 4.1apg w/ 2.70 to's, 1.7bpg, 22.4ppg in 39.4 mpg

KG's 99-00 season with the Wolves was better that Big Al's 08-09, plus you did not include KG's 1.7spg over Big Al's 0.8spg. On top of that KG took way more 3pt shots than Big Al did and still kept his 49.7% fg ;)

Well thanks for ruining the game pal. I like the all around game that player a displayed. Taking a.

As d-bog noted, these are stats from Jefferson & Garnett. What he didn't tell you is they're both 5th year stats or note that both players came out of high school. Player C is Garnett's 12 year, the one before he was traded for Big Al.

I was surprised at how low a fg% Garnett has had throughout his career as well as how low his block numbers are in spite of his perceived defensive prowess. I figured he'd be above the 55% water mark that separates elite big scorers from average ones. Garnett also declined in fg% while increasing FTAs and assists, yet became more of a franchise player. I was also impressed that Jefferson shot an equivalent amount of FTAs prior to his injury.

Jefferson needs to get back to the line at that 5 FTA clip and get his assists up to 3. One thing that works against him is selling fouls to the refs. He gets hacked at least twice per game and doesn't get the call. That's good for 3 points and 5-8% on his fg%. The only other thing we need is for KOC to surround him with play makers & shooters like McHale surrounded Garnett. Trade Kwame Collins Kanter for a player.

Keep up the good work...

Oh, and ? Give me a ****ing break.

Don't say anything about Jefferson or someone's gonna cry. Do you have some better wording you'd like me to insert there that will get you to stop crying in my thread?

I should expect this tantrum out of you. You've only been throwing it for two ****ing years straight, ad naseum. Why don't you go back to humping Jared Jack's leg with Thriller?

Jefferson is a terrible defender in space and doesn't communicate. He doesn't set a tone. He doesn't act as a captain of the defense.

Kevin Garnett - fake tough guy or not - is one of the most important defensive pieces I can think of in the last 20 years (including coaches). There's so much more to defense than blocking shots. It's moving your feet and your mouth. Creating a culture and enforcing a system, not wrecking all of that every time your man sets a pick on a point guard and you freeze because it's not clear you even know what to do.

Running is a pretty neat feature in basketball, too.

So yeah, this comparison is absolute horse-****. Sorry man.

The worse Kanter becomes the more sensitive and angry you get over Jefferson being the 3rd or 4th best center in the league.

Nice deflection.

Jefferson doesn't play winning basketball and is in the way of moving forward, Kanter or not. I didn't want him before he came here, and he's actually worse than I thought he was.
