Most of you have seen dollar figures floating around for Hill (it seems he could get $20Million/year, or more). As one of Hill's biggest supporters, even I am balking. Most of you have also heard about the available/possible replacements. Please select your desired replacement from the options in the poll or select your desire to re-acquire Hill. If 'other' please say who 'other' is.

Rubio's contract: next year: $14,100,000; year after: $14,800,000

Patrick Beverly: next year: $5,513,514; year after (team option!): $5,027,028

Eric Bledsoe: next year: $14,500,000; year after: $15,000,000

Someone should sell us all on the prospect of adding Bledsoe to this team. I was all about this 4 years ago. Not sure now.

Gotta go with Bev! Allows you to sign one more of the 3 free agents next year (Hood, exum, favors).

Also, allows us to sit on the burks contract and give him some time to regain some value. If he doesn't gain any value that contract is alot easier to trade this time next year.

Rubio all the way.

Out of curiosity, is the Hill pick injury-free or the version that the Jazz were stuck with that barely played?

Bledsoe or hill for me, with a slight lean towards Bledsoe over hill (due to price/age).

If hill and Bledsoe are more similar salary wise (I'm hearing hill might get way less that originally thought) then I take hill

Good thread btw.
Will get on the desktop to participate in the poll when I have a chance.

Expect Minnesota to go hard for George Hill

Exactly. Why would we take a Rubio who can't shoot and is an average defender to allow Minny the ability to add Hill who can shoot and defend? The "new" Timberwolves have a ton of potential, but nobody to really spread the floor. If we give them the ability to add an accomplished PG who can shoot, that's just dumb.

I truly think Rickyyyy is our best option. Not as versatile of a defender, but a better on-ball defender compared to Hill. Also the perfect mentor for Exum.

Hayward would LOVE playing with him. Think of the easy baskets he gets with Rubio, especially in transition (where we struggled).

Beverly makes the most sense to me considering his contract and his work ethic and the fact that we have a point guard and a combo guard coming on board via the draft.
