It is unrealistic Batum or Wallace will play with us. Maybe Chandler has a chance but i dont think we will go for him.
For me there are only 2 realistic options here, AK or Howard. And other options for sure

Disagree with you. AK is not realistic, the Jazz FO showed that they had very little (if any) interest in resigning AK. On top of this Phil J came out and said what the coaching staff really thought of AK. This sealed the deal there is less chance of AK coming back then Batum or Wallace.

Also I don't see why it is unrealistic that Batum or wallace would play for Utah they aren't superstars, they would go where the money was.

Nonetheless I like Howard and could see him for 1-2 years.

Hayward is playing out of position so Corbin can finish his obsession with Raja.

I believe if Hayward was guarding Kobe the Jazz would have won. Kobe can't shoot over him.

Stop, just stop. Do you ****ing listen to yourself? Gordon Hayward has played mediocre this year. And that's by Gordon Hayward standards. Kobe Bryant could ****ing scorch Hayward nine out of ten times with his eyes ****ing closed. Jesus. And you wonder why you've been labeled BeanClown.

I don't even know who you are, and I'll bet my balls you don't know the story behind the name beanclown.

Hayward played great defense against Kobe last year and you know it.

Where does this idea that Hayward is a natural 2 playing out of position come from? The Kobe game? Anyone watching Hayward this year is seeing him get beat by 3's. Not shot over or posted, but beat. So he's going to slide over to 2 and suddenly guard much quicker guys better? If Ty mercifully ends the Raja experiment and puts Howard next to Hayward, we'll finally be able to evaluate this. But to this point in his entire career, we've seen Hayward play 2 about 200 total minutes.

He is the artist formerly known as SalmonHobo who was the artist formerly known as KrazyEyedKilla.

You seriously think it's a 'good chance' we won't have a pick?
I do. GS is in the bottom 6 right now. And they've only played three road games vs seven at home. They're an awful team. Kwame is gone and Curry will be struggling with ankle problems all season long. That top-8 protection should be enough for them to hold on to their pick. Late in the season, I'm sure they'll start tanking games if they're on the borderline.

And it appears the Jazz may hover around .500. Right now, that would give the Jazz the 8th seed, which would send our pick to Minnesota.

Ugh. Not much else to say. This draft is so loaded and the next, isn't. Hopefully, if what you say is comes to fruition, a lot of guys bail on this draft and enter the next.

Holy God you're even a bigger moran than you project.

Great, he played great defense against the Lakers last year. Maybe the 49ers should cut all their defensive players before the game today and sign all the Rams defenders because they shut down New Orleans at home this year. Yes, that makes sense.

God, you're hopeless.

I'll take it you don't know the story behind Beanclown. I bet you are good at dodge ball.

You've mentioned this twice. Are you waiting for multi-username to ask the story?

He said earlier "and you wonder why people call you beanclown...."

So I'm calling him out on it. But yet he dodged it like a 5th grader in P.E. class.

I've been wondering for a while if Hayward's ideal role is the first perimeter player off the bench, maybe even playing some PG offensively (provided someone else guards the opposing PGs on D). He is and always has been a bit of a tweener and being able to pick his matchups and play against lesser players might be the best way to maximize his play.

Long story short, yeah, I think the Jazz should still be looking for a legit starting SF. It doesn't have to be a star, just someone with nice size, plays D first, can spread the floor, can pass, and knows how to play in an offense. I think Batum is perfect for that role, especially since he can guard two positions very well (wings), and in certain situations/in a pinch can guard two more ([slower] PGs and [smaller] PFs).

Wallace is nice too, but he's not really a floor-spreader and he's just too old to try to do this rebuild with IMO.

If you are talking about Howard, the Jazz were one of many teams to give him an offer. If we didn't have Harris on our team to help recruit him, he would have gone to one of several other teams.
And if the Jazz don't make the playoffs and don't trade him, then in the long term, the Jazz just blew $3 million.

But Josh Howard has been a very nice addition to this point. But that's not exactly the point.

It's a long season, even this year. Teams go on runs both good and bad. But right now I would guess GS will end up in the 5-9 worst range. So yeah, it's going to be close.

Teams that have a great chance of finishing worse:
Washington
New Jersey
Charlotte
Detroit

Still TBD:
New Orleans
Sacramento
Toronto
Phoenix

5-9 is a pretty safe bet. The Kwame loss hurts a bit but there are a lot of bad teams out there.

Out of the list I would pick Wilson Chandler. He has been producing pretty good over the past 3 years and is still only 24 years old. Even he might be fools gold though because I see he played pretty poorly when he joined the Nuggets.

Yeah except when he played against the Jazz.

It's top 7 protected, not top 8. And Curry had these same problems with his ankle last season and he still managed to play 74 games. For all you know, Curry will come back next week and not miss another game.
