Cases for each player

Gordon Hayward

- With Marvin coming in Hayward should start at the 2, where he plays and fits better.

-summer playing with Team USA

Derrick Favors

-he better start, so more minutes

-more mature

-summer playing with Team USA

Alec Burks

-more minutes

-summer league

-full training camp

I decided to leave out Kanter becuase I think his minutes stay the same until Jefferson or Millsap is moved.

I think Favors will make biggest leap, Corbin will have no choice but play him. Means probably more minutes at SF for Millsap and more minutes at SG for Hayward.

I would say Jeremy Evans, and certainly not Kancer. I dont think anyone will leap higher than Evans this year.

Wheres the Evans option?

Damn, you beat me to the punchline. I saw thread title and immediately thought of the obvious joke.

I say Burks. Favors still has a raw offensive game. Alec will see the greatest increase in PT.
Hayward also has a shot if he can FINALLY start a season off playing well. Perhaps the summer with Team USA means he comes into camp ready and confident. We can only hope!

I went with Favors. Burks' minutes will be increased slightly more than Favors' compared to last year, but I think Favors' experience with Team USA will help him more than the SL has helped Burks. That, and I think Favors' confidence was boosted by the playoffs more than anyone's.

I actually picked Burks to make the biggest jump. (No pun intended[pun intended])

I think we will see about the same player in Favors as we seen at the end of the year, maybe a little better. Same with Hayward. Burks though will see a lot more minutes with Bell gone. Burks will look really good this next year. Favors will probably play limited minutes again.

I hope Alec Burks puts up 15points a game from getting a bunch of minutes off the bench. I really want him to start at the 2. Any chance of Alec Burks improving his 3pt shot this season?

Burks - actually having a summer and training camp will do him good - his shot looked better in the summer league games, though he had absolutely no problem being a D-Wade and scoring at will in the paint. Now with some three-point shooters, the lane will be more open for Burks = easy inside shots and trips to the free-throw line....
