Nigel will make the team. He is fine as a steady option should Mudiay, Exum not work and we don't want to go the Ingles, DM backup pg route.

I think Howard makes it over Kidd... I think there are lots of guys that can defend but can't shoot so I think we could find another guy like Kidd. I just think Howard has more potential and when we are talking about 15th roster spot and a guy not likely to play... I'd rather go for the higher upside option.

I don't have faith that Kidd can develop his shot because he has some really bad misses... I think guys with shooting potential will miss at times but he seems to have more airballs or balls that slam off the backboard than others. We are kind of stacked at the small ball 4 position so maybe they prefer a more wingy type like Kidd.
 
I don't think any of the FA's are worth keeping - NWG, Kidd, Morgan, Howard, Blewit, the other guy (haven't seen Collinsworth yet).

Plenty of other fish in the sea.

Kidd has more potential than Howard tho. Have you seen the way Howard moves on defense?

A "score first" Neto? LMFAO. What an analogy! So NWG is like a "score first" 3rd string point guard? LOL. Never heard that one before!! Have you ever thought of being an NBA scout? I'm sure there's a huge need throughout NBA teams to find a score first, 3rd string player.
I repeat, a 3rd string! Normally your just happy if your 3rd string PG scores at all and doesn't throw away the game during garbage time, but we found ourselves a 3rd string PG who goes in to score first. I'm sure a score first 3rd string NBA player will have a very long career in the NBA. LMAO. Lets get our score first 3rd string PG on the court with an un-drafted, rebound first prospect. Imagine the possibilities.

Yeah, I was surprised by that. Kidd was at the end of the rotation the last two pre-season games, and Howard wasn't. I'm really curious to see what the Jazz do with this last spot. Ivan Rabb just got waived and is available too.
 
Ivan Rabb is intriguing. A poor man's Derrick favors. Great wingspan/length. Good inside game. Great runner. Can play the 4 and 5. Needs development. But a good different look and would probably be a 3rd stringer. But he is extremely young and in a couple of years who knows.
