Who would you NOT be happy with?

I do not want Vonleh. He can shoot that doesn't make him a stretch four. He is doesn't feel any need nor is he going to be anything special.

Stephen Curry invited him because of his success in shooting to a shoot-out between the two, but the NCAA did not allow their players to participate in any match-up with professional basketball players, so the event has been canceled.

I wouldn't necessarily be unhappy with any of the top 8 guys. I think they all have talent and one could make an argument for each one. I think I would be most unhappy if the Jazz select Embiid at 5. It is too huge of a risk for me even though he is a great talent.

I'm honestly not sold on Gordon. I think he turns into a solid 6th man or role player and that's not what the Jazz need. I've seen people say he'll end up like Blake Griffin but I don't see him ending up with that size frame. Yeah he'd be fun to watch but he's not a shooter, can't shoot free throws and I think he's too small for the 4 and can't see him at the 3 I guess to put into terms I see him as a better Jeremy Evans on both sides of the ball (Gordon is only 20 lbs heavier than Evans).

Gordon is eighteen and Evans was 23 when he came in the league I believe. I would be more concerned about Gordon's shooting than his weight. If he can learn to shoot better than he can be a SF.

Gordon. Seeing that the Jazz themselves seem to have to come up with comparisons(kirilenko) that aren't accurate in the least and attributing him with skills he doesn't actually have, no thanks. He's been on the radar since his older brother was dominating in high school but he jumps high is about the best you can say about him still.

Actually if that is all you know about Gordon then you don't really know his game. He rebounds well, his defense has been describe as elite and versatile, he is an above average passer for his position with a very high BBIQ. All the way up the basketball ladder he has been one of the top players in his class. He is a team player who wants to win and get better. His work ethic has been documented. So jumping high is simply one physical attribute he displays but he also has great lateral mobility and speed for his size. There is a lot more to like about him than dislike.
