Who would you rather at SG.....Sexton or George??

On a highly competitive playoff team, Sexton would probably still be viewed as a change-of-pace guy off the bench. He has some limitations on both sides of the ball, and he isn't terribly effective when he's not playing with the ball in his hands. That doesn't inherently mean that Keyonte is a better solution, but at least in theory Keyonte should be a higher-gravity shooter and more versatile shooter when he isn't trying to do too much.

Sexton by a significant margin. But I’m not that into either. I feel great about Sexton coming off the bench, he’s hyper efficient, and I love his intangibles. Key, not so much.

not keyonte. Aside from shooting, he have several 0 assist half and high turnover games. hes not an offensive threat hes great when hes hot but goes into some deep black hole when hes not. Also notice we rarely run lauri-key pnr? We used to do that alot with clarkson. I would really look into trading him if we get harper

George stinks but he’s the obvious answer here. We drafted him for a reason. We need to try to continue to develop him.

Just crazy to me people are so down on Keyonte. I get not being overly enthused, but he's still at minimum our 2nd best rookie contract prospect.

Even if he's just ultimately a rotation bench piece that's still a win for his draft slot

Keys shooting split is comparable and even worse than the likes of Marcus Smart/Dillon Brooks/Pat Beverley, guys that made a name for themselves as defenders.
If he defends like any of those 3 I will stand down - and be delighted. I dont see any indication of him being close to that kind of a defender.

Keyonte plays D like a kid who was handed way too many minutes way too soon.

At this point my preference would be neither.

If I absolutely had to choose between the two, I would do it as late as possible. The sample size on Key is still fairly small, and some of his problems seem immaturity related. When he doesnt get into his head and plays hard on both ends he looks like he will may end up being better of those two. Collin can explode and beat guys better than Key does, but his defensive IQ is off the charts (in the wrong direction) and his offensive tunnel vision symptoms get very severe at times.
I think colli is actually a pretty good defender. he's tenacious and doesn't let anybody get anything without a lot of work.

Lets say for arguments sake that the Jazz don't view Keyonte as the long term solution at PG and prefer to play him as SG. Lets say they went after Dylan Harper as PG of the future.....who would you rather have starting and logging the most minutes as SG beside him? Personally my preference is for Collin. Better shooter, better ball handler, better penetrator and better defense than KG. I think his overall attitude is far superior to KG's as well. Collin has that X-factor about him as well.....capable of exploding at any given time. If the Jazz were to be looking to the future this way, l would much prefer they traded KG than Collin and started him at SG beside whomever they drafted as a PG. Curious to hear all your views on this.
Sexton. He's more patient and can create more efficiently than Keyonte. I always get frustrated when I hear that sexton is on the trade block. I get Clarkson and Collins (although I would like to keep John) but sexton contributes so much to the team both now and in the future.
