happy birthday john. i'll never forget how friendly you were to my son at the lion's club meeting in highland back in 91. you had a firm handshake and looked me directly in the eye when i introduced myself to you. that is the sign of a true gentleman. this season more so then any has made us long for a point guard of your caliber. how has retirement been? i'm assuming you saved up quite a bit during your playing days but what are you doing in terms of other income? feel free to e-mail me because i have some exciting things i could share and cutting edge products that many venture capitalists have sniffed around at. i always used to tell my brother-in-law that you would be the best coach when we'd go to the games at the salt lake palace. i no longer speak with him unfortunately but that isn't important right now. i mean yes it is important to me because i valued his friendship and insight but it's not important to bore you with on your birthday. if you are interested in finding out why you can e-mail about that to. if my ex-wife new i was so candid her face would turn so red and maybe that snake would shed a few scales if ya' know what i mean. women need i say more?
the number by your age only has as much meaning as you give it john. the 50's is a fine accomplishment and a sign of a real man. your a role model to many and were a key figure in the utah jazz becoming part of the fabric of our great state. yes we have many flaws in terms of local and state government but we shouldn't get into that. i always wondered where you stood politically but respected you never meddled in that type of discourse in the media.
happy birthday and here's to 50 more! well i don't know where you stand as far as how long you want to live or not. i know i don't want to be 85 if i can't move on my own or think straight. but i hope you fulfill each year as to your desire until your last day. three cheers for you john! hip hip hurrah! hip hip hurrah! hip hip hurrah!
