Why Can't Gordon Hayward Rebound?

Or a fart in the general direction? Who can tell the difference?

If you can't tell the difference between a fart and elderberries, I want to eat mexican food with you.

What if the fart was after you ate elderberries?

Weren't we talking about Gordon Hayward's rebounding?

Look.... What's that?

0 rebounds at the half against Grizzlies. I know our starting bigs aren't the best at blocking out, but Hayward still needs to put forth some effort on the glass.

Is it possible that we've been overrating Hayward? I know the season is young, but his shot isn't falling, his defense has been less than stellar and he hasn't been aggressive at all. I really like Hayward, I appreciate his passing and his general knowledge of the game, but he hasn't been playing well at all. I dunno, maybe I'm just being overly pessimistic, but I'm worried about Hayward.

God I hope not but it is possible

You can tweet #improveeveryday all day long but it doesn't mean jack.

TO be fair it appears he is putting in the effort as well. Summer was full of articles of him working out. Plus the tweet of the late night shooting season. However if he never shows that improvement on the court that that is a problem.

I am starting to worry about this too. I don't know why he is so hesitant about everything. He gets the ball and either frantically dribbles across the top of the key to pass it off on the opposite corner, or he holds it and passes it off again. He needs to attack the rim, he needs to cut harder, he needs to set picks and take it right at people. If he can find his aggression he will come back to form, but right now it is like he is playing scared.

It is easy to be aggressive and in form when team is out of playoffs, during blowouts or when nothing matters and you can play through mistakes. He needs to show he can play when every win counts, he needs to show he can play and stay in aggressive and positive game mood after mistakes or missed shots. So far he is showing that he is not ready for that.

Thats right milk man.

Before he wasn't dribling at all, now he is over dribbling. He needs to read the court, and learn to take just one or two dribbles to the right spot, and just shoot a jump shot, using his elevation. This should take 2 seconds, either its there or its not. He did do something like this to close out each of the last 2 games.

We should blame Big Al and Raja for Gordon's lack of rebounding.

Yes we should blame other players on what Hayward is not doing well. It is their fault he sucks. If we could have a team of 12 Gordons we would be the greatest team to go down in history. He does everything perfect. Even when he performs horribly in certain areas, there is someone else to point the finger at. Dont you dare say another obvious negetive statement about our little Hayward. He is a Golden Child! You got that? GOLDEN CHILD. That means something. It means he is a child made out of gold! I will not sit hear and listen to this until we put a statue of him at ES arena. Let's not even put it outside, let's drop a statue of Hayward right at the center of the court. His actual height is between 6"1 and 6"11 but he is a giant as far as I'm concerned. A giant! 9 ft 36 inch golden boy who is perfect!
