Why do we hate Lou Williams and Aaron Brooks again?

All I know is that Devin Harris absolutely destroyed Lou Williams in each time that they met this season. If CapNHarris is giving you fits, and getting you in foul trouble, then I do not want you on my team. Brooks is an unknown to me

Williams is a solid player, but everyone would hate him because he's a chucker in the Jamal Crawford/JR Smith mold.

Brooks is a paradox. He'd be the starter everybody wanted to bench, or the bench player everybody wanted to start.

This actually sums up my feelings on each. Again, just exploring ideas at the point going forward.

Lou Williams is alright, but don't we have a similar player in the budding Alec Burks? (scoring 6th man)

Aaron Brooks is alright, but he's more of a Ronnie Price who can shoot.. nothing wrong with that but I'd rather have Mo Williams. Just a bit more size and he also provides toughness on defense that Brooks doesn't really bring.

Ronnie Price who can shoot? You're just throwing a name out there.

I thought L.Williams was asking for a max contract? Also, I thought we didn't like Aaron Brooks because he looked like Chris Rock's younger brother that played for the dreaded Houston Rockets.

I haven't heard how much Lou Williams is asking for, but if it is a max contract, that would explain why Philly didn't bring him back.

They are both great players. Mo Williams is actually the combo of Brooks and Lou. Mo can shoot 3s and lead a team like Brooks, but also provide instant offense like Lou. I would be happy to have either player on the Jazz, but with Watson and Tinsley, there is no room for either. If I had to pick between the two, I would choose Lou because he can play the two, score at will, and is one of the better 6th men in the game. Brooks should go to Dallas, Houston, or the Knicks, where he could have the potential to start.
