What's new

Why haven't we cut Lucas and given Pierre Jackson a chance?

nah, let's instead just sign jamal tinsley again and waive him after 8 games

The Pelicans own his rights and probably want some kind of compensation for him. How he is playing in the DLeague and not being forced to be counted by NO is beyond me. Plus we owe Luke for the rest of the season and next year as well plus we have the point guard in Europe as well.

Apparently we owe every vet? Why do we owe tem doe?

Now that Kevin Murphy guy, we should give him a shot after trading jefferson and williams. /Lol

Actually wouldn't be opposed to it. He was very raw when we had him, and he never really got an opportunity. We knew he was raw when we drafted him, and then we faulted him for it. He was good trade filler for the GSW picks, so that was good. Anyways, his DLEAGUE stats show some marked improvement in other areas of his game:

24.8 PPG, 6.8 REB (big improvement, shows he has improved BBIQ), 1.8 AST (that's something. Dude was allergic to passing). .518 FG% .434% from 3, and .08 STLs.

His last 3 games are pretty impressive too. 39 PTS, 51 PTS, and 34 PTS.

He's skinny for the position, but he's a legit offensive threat. I remember being impressed with his constant slashing and curling (which is something I miss from Hayward's game when he played off ball).

Exactly, but I guess we already have Clark, so Murphy wouldn't even get a chance. I hope the Bucks or someone picks him up and gives him time.

Yeah, we do have Clark, but Clark is a serious tweener. He doesn't have the height to be a real 2 guard, and he doesn't have the skills to be a 1. Murph is 6-5, so he's good at the 2, he still needs more weight though. Murph's slashing and curling is also more the kind of guy that this team needs. With Burke, Burks, and Hayward (now that the FO and coaches have altered his game) all being on ball players, it would behoove us to pick up a guard who had good off the ball skills and was a serious threat from behind the arc (now that Hayward's new on the ball style has destroyed his 3 pt shooting).

While Clark was MVP of the Summer League the only time I have been impressed was when he came in in garbage time against Golden State and forced Jax to put the starters back in to close the game. Other than that game no.

Well to be fair, that's like one of the only games he's played in...
