Why not Jermaine O'Neal?

According to espn, he is deciding between the mavs, nuggets, and celtics, all of which are offering only part of their MLE. Is it worth it to offer him our full MLE? Personally I think it would be overpaying, but I think he would fit in perfect for 20-25 min per game at the 5.

I would do that in a second if O'neal was younger. As is... I still like him but, the Jazz admin probably is going for a younger guy.

Jermaine would be a good pickup for the Celtics. He played well last year and coming off the bench he would be a good addition for them in the playoffs.

As for the Jazz, neither are they contenders nor would they be willing to pay that kind of money to him. Not that he would be interested in coming here either, even if they did.
