I was just describing the guy by one of his attributes. His IQ places him at the end of the spectrum called genius. It's only an attribute. No different, in principal, then the color of his eyes is an attribute. I just thought a poster acted ticked at me for describing him by an accurate attribute. If it's a notable attribute, which it is, it's because it's rare among humans. His height is an attribute. If he were 10 feet tall, that would be notable, probably the tallest human ever. When I simply explained that I'm speaking of his IQ, he is a genius, poster comes back still ticked off at me. Sure, I'm taking it personal. I'm only describing an attribute for God's sake. Instead, I get "I'm sticking to my position". Well, what exactly are we arguing about that we're speaking of positions?
My bad I guess. But I want to suggest that if someone objects to an accurate description of one notable attribute, just don't act like you're pissed at me about it. It ain't my GD fault that he scores genius on the IQ scale, any more then I'm to blame for the color of his eyes.
