As a Euroleague watcher i am saying, Jazz fans demand more slow pace at the paint give them Tomic lol. Also dear jazz fans, watch Kanter at Eurobasket in this summer you will have more tears :D Tomic won't have Huertas, Navarro, Oleson around him if he will come to Utah. Pass to Elijah Millsap,Ingles,Exum Tomic !!! LOL

Does Kanter ever play for his national team? I heard they hate him too.

Even if he does play, the only time I remember watching Kanter play for Turkey, the coach was totally awful, and just made Hedo chuck threes all game.

Welcome to the board!!!

He was injured. 3 days ago he said he will always play for national team.

Make no mistake: this star player is ready to suit up for the Turkish national basketball team. Though recent injuries kept him from doing so, he is now excited and ready to do this particular task.

Kanter, who has largely remained silent in the face of criticism and rumors with regards to his failure to play for the Turkish national team, said on the issue: "I have remained mostly quiet in the fact of unnecessary rhetoric on this topic. Believe me, sometimes it's difficult to even believe some of the things people say. In the past two years, all sorts of unmentionable things have been said about me with regards to the Turkish national team. There is no point in repeating them here; especially since I've mentioned them in previous interviews.”

“But I will say just this: I love my people, our national team and our flag a thousand times more than those who criticize me so improperly on this topic. In fact, every moment in the NBA is spent thinking about how I can get people here to love the values, country and flag that I represent more.”

“What's more, no one should think, ‘Ah, that Enes Kanter, he's just pursuing fame and fortune, not even one part of his mind is on Turkey these days.' In one sense they are right as Turkey does not lie in just one corner of my mind but right in the middle of my heart. I want everyone out there to know that I am doing my best to see that our flag becomes one which is respected no matter where you go in the world,” he said.

“Maybe this was a very long answer, but the topic really bothers me, which is why I wanted to express this all one more time. Let all the basketball lovers reading this know that this year and in future years when I am playing, I will definitely be suiting up in our national team uniform. With pride.”

This interview shows what a sweet, sensitive, emotional and sentimental person he is. I truly believe if the Millers treated him well he would have been a jazz man for life. Would have given everything for us down to dying on the court. We all know how good a fired up Kanter can be. I think thats what we are seeing in OKC.

He IS sweet.

Anyway, about Tomic... It would be cool to see him in a Jazz uni in 2015-16, if nothing else to finally give us all a chance to actually see the guy in action, right? And we need a skilled big to give Rudy a breather. Comments about him being defensively soft frankly concern me, though. Hopefully he'd realize coming to the NBA-- and particularly to the Jazz-- would require a fresh mentality, and he'd commit to the team's philosophy from Day 1.

Is Tomic on twitter? Is his feed littered with pseudo-religious weirdo babble with sprinkled with pictures of things on fire for good measure, too?

The Jazz need to definitely bring Tomic over next season. He's the prefect back up that Gobert needs. Tomic gots excellent court vision and nice passing skills for a big guy. He could teach Gobert a few things about being a good passer and have a smarter approach at playing ball since Tomic has been a pro way longer.

I think the Jazz have put the ball in Ante's court. I think the Jazz want to make a big playoff push next year, and realize adding Ante ups the chances. If he wants to come we will do whatever is necessary to make it happen. I believe Plan B is drafting a big, and Plan C getting a big through FA.

What I truly wonder is if there is any chatter behind closed doors of bringing over Super Mario with Ante. Obviously getting Mario would involve trading up in the draft. So, is the front office toying with that possibility? Ante and Mario are both Croatian. Both come from the same city dubrovnik. Both play on the same european pro team barcelona. Just like bringing over Jingling Joe to help ease Dantes entrance to the pros this seems like it could help. Mario has immaturity concerns, and may struggle fitting in. Having his former teammate, and his fellow countryman should improve his comfort level. Id love to add these two Croatian studs to the mix next year. Its the best possible realistic obtainable situation I can see.

Exum, Burke, Cotton
Hood, Burks, Millsap
Hayward, Mario, Evans
Favors, Booker
Gobert, Tomic

DAMN that line up is gangsta.

This quote finally explains to me why Kanter said the things he did about the Jazz organization, his teammates, Salt Lake City, etc. He was simply trying to get people to love his country and values. Makes perfect sense... NOT.

I like the idea. It's a small thing but I'd rather keep Jingles than either of Evans or Millsap. I also can't see any way Evans wants to stay here. He's been quiet but it's got to bother him he couldn't get off the bench all year.

Evans probably would be happy to be on any NBA team next year. Which is weird. He's possibly one of the few players in history posting above average PER in every single season of his career that gets so little minutes on the floor. I like him and his attitude, I wouldn't mind him being our end of the bench big(13-15th player on the roster).
