Why was Malone there?

Although, I hated Miller's comments, and treatment of Malone calling him unreliable. (There hasn't been a more reliable player than Karl ever).
Karl needs to grow the hell up too. They both are man children way over their heads in business, and social grace.

Both need to grow up, and treat each other with respect. It's disrespectful to Larry, and the organization the way the way they carry themselves sometimes.
Labeling Karl unreliable couldn't be further from the truth, and is a distortion of reality. Karl was a rock, along with John/Larry, on which this team was built.
Saying he can't be trusted with the team now because of personal issues is a huge blemish on Greg resume. On the other hand if Greg reached out to Karl tonight, Malone needs to man up and respect that.

I thought the blog where Greg told the world what he thinks of Karl overdid it. It was almost like high-school girl-ish.

How did this turn into a joke thread?
Karl Malone walks up to a scalper and says, "Karl Malone want to know, how much for tickets to the Jazz game?" and the scalper says, "Fifty bucks." And Karl Malone says, "Karl Malone want to know why only fifty bucks?" And the scalper sighs and says, "Okay, seventy-five, then." And Karl Malone says, "Seventy-five?" and the scalper bursts into tears, reaches into his pocket and pulls out a hundred-dollar bill. "Okay, okay, I'll give you a hundred to take 'em off me, please!"

Why was Malone there? To witness first hand how far the Jazz have fallen/regressed since the days when Stockton and Malone dressed for the Jazz? He obviously....didn't even recognize the team.

I assumed (could be wrong obviously) he was there to honor LHM's passing 3yrs ago last night.

But thanks for the other info interesting stuff.

FWIW, Greg had said Karl could have his seats next time he wanted to come to a game but last night Karl was in a seat belonging to Doc Anderson. Obviously Karl didn't take Greg up on that offer.

Karl was the definition of reliable on the court. He is a complete loose cannon off the court and uses little if any common sense once he gets rolling. Not a Greg M fan and I think he went way overboard but he nailed the reliability issue. As for Karl, throwing the entire organization under the buss and then saying you would like to coach demonstrates a pretty low IQ.
