I think there used to be thread of similar nature last year/earlier this year (and I'm sure there was one on the old forum days) but seeing as we've gotten a decent influx of new members, I figured hey what the hell.

Why did you all choose the names you did?? Dalamon was a childhood nickname that my late great-uncle used to always refer to me; I just randomly picked it back in November when i couldn't think of anything, and now I hate it with passion and I might ask Jason to change it later.

Regardless, theres some interesting usernames on this forum, lets hear the explanations.

My name use to be Dwill_PwnasaurausRex. I made that account a while back when I just lurked the boards, probably when I was 16 or 17. Ever since I started posting I thought the name was stupid, but Dwill was my favorite player so I kept it. After Dwill was traded I had to get a new name. I wanted something Jazz related, so I just went with Cyrone Torbin, but switched the C and T around. On most message boards I usually go by "Goose" or some variation on it, as that is my nickname, but JazzGoose just sounded dumb.

I'm an avid hunter.

I've wanted to know what's the spat with Salmon-Hobo and TroutBum. We need someone to step up and take the name SharkBait.

Before I was babe, people called me Toots. That just didn't work out in Little League. Hitting some homeruns can change what people call you.

I served my mission in Honduras. Catratcho is a slang word for Honduran. Basically, Gringo is to American like Catratcho is to Honduran. It's my was of representing.

On my first deployment in the Navy we had an illegal network set up in our shop and we'd play Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear on our work PCs. I was very inconsistent, but occasionally very good. My Boss at the time, the guy who set up the illegal network, admonished me so many times that I needed to get my game face on that I eventually changed my gemertag to gameface. It is a reminder to myself to be focused and disciplined. It fits most of my online activities well; PC games, poker and Utah Jazz basketball.

I wanted the most generic, jazz-related name I could come up with and out came Jazzman12.

It is generic, and stupid, and somewhat lazy.

I've thought about having it changed many times but I just don't think I care enough one way or the other.

I ****ing LOVED that game. Though I think it mustve been extra-special playing it in the environment that you did.

Spat? I was paying homage to the stud. Dude's a role model for all to follow and the future of our political system.

Someone should change their name to ichthyogluteus.
