does anybody else have a wierd feeling? it doesn't seem possible that we will have a season but for some reason it seems like a deal will get done soon and we will have basketball again. I didn't think it would happen but for some odd reason i feel that a deal will get done soon. I really really want jazz basketball this season and i can't wait! My buddy saw ronnie price at the gas station and it gave me the chills big time. Go Jazz and mark my words " There will be a season" and if I am wrong I guess life will go on. just think guys Kanter Favors Millsap Jefferson Okur! That is incredible! Cant wait to see hayward progress and alec burks! Jazz Basketball is Amazing! Raja Bell will be a lot better this season. He still needs to come off the bench but he won't be such a disappointment! Devin Harris will be more comfortable running the offense! I am so excited but now I am just rambling on so time to end this post Go Jazz and can't wait until the first game around halloween! It just might happen!
 
I kind of feel the same way. At first I thought there was no chance of a season, but now I feel like there will be one.

Now we just need sir to start dreaming that the season will start on time.

Me too for some reason.
 
Its hard for me to believe they will have a lockout after such a great season. Last year was fantastic, they don't want to lose that momentum.
 
I think it is somewhat encouraging that both sides have decided not to play out the debate in the press any longer after every meeting. That tells me they're at least serious about making a deal. Up until now all you've seen is posturing.

As long as the current lines of communication stay open, I think you'll see some type of basketball season this year.
 
I have gone from "there won't be a season" to "there will be a shortened season". After seeing all the good feeling from the NFL resolving their labor issues, I don't know how the NBA can dig their feet in and risk losing what they have. Then again, the NFL was arguing over how to divide the pie. The NBA is fighting over what kind of pie it is and who can eat it. I don't see a resolution before Halloween, but I would be surprised if there is not one by Thanksgiving.
 
This is consistent with some stuff floating around that isn't linkable.

I don't believe any of it, though, until sirkicky says it.
