Nor should he. Kanter hasn't earned or proven **** yet. You don't go into the season with 3 bigs and change. If Kanter proves he can score, defend, and play 20 minutes a game without getting winded after 15 games then you move a big for a 4th man. Right now, Kanter has nothing but potential. If he can't hack it, we'll need Al and Millsap. Kanter is worthless if he can't keep up, he barely made it through a shortened season, and was eating turds for a good chunk of it. I need to see a lot more from him before I'm convinced.

As the roster is presently constituted, I don't even know how he would get 20 minutes 15 games in a row. If he's lucky, he may get 15+ minutes in 3-4 consecutive nights, unless there's an injury.

I think if KOC finds a good deal for Millsap before it would most likely happen before the season starts. If he decides to trade Al it should be at the deadline when maybe a team will be desperate for a big man. My preference would be to trade Millsap for a bench 3pt specialist w/ 1st rounder. Then sign Danny Green from the Spurs for his defense/3pt shooting. Listen to offers for Jefferson(Philly needs a big man now)

I would love for the Jazz to trade with the Kings. Jefferson for Robinson and Fredette(or Thomas) and maybe a few draft picks. The Kings are desperate for some strong vets. Giving Cousins the chance to work with Jefferson would be great for his game and the Kings know that. The only problem with that trade that I can think of is salary issues with the Kings. Having Favors and Robinson on the same team would be great.
