Will the Jazz ever amnesty a player?

I noticed that different teams have used this clause since is in effect.

I'm wondering if the Jazz will ever use this possibility. I think it does not belong to their culture.

I think if they really wanted a piece they would. I don't think they'd amnesty unless they really thought they had to, though.

They have no reason to do so (the benefit is for salary cap and tax purposes, and the jazz are below the cap). And they have no one qualified to amnesty (contracts that was in effect prior to the 2011-12 season)

That list is outdated. Utah has no players eligible to amnesty. The amnesty period is after this season ends. At which point Favors' new deal begins and Hayward is a RFA.
