I'm going to watch Team America, World Police and pretend this is still all a joke. At least with WMD there was something to actually fear monger us over. We allow despotic regimes to treat women like sex slaves -- many of these we even consider allies -- but when some highly popular government blasts off some tear gas, well, that's where we draw the line folks. Forget that N. Korea does this **** every day to many, many more. It's time to ride horse valor because this is THE red line in the sand.

That's too simple to come up with. They could employ a couple million people building a canal system from east to west and stamping CCR back into every new section of concrete laid across the US. No, these ****ers in D.C. crave war.

By the way, any of you know about this Syrian girl phenomena on YouTube? I'm listening to her videos more than a year now. It's a great way to establish an empathy about being a Syrian citizen, or being a ME citizen. Her beauty was just a plus at the beginning but now I really feel close to her and don't mind about her look at all.

Could be.

Because, Saudis think they can buy anything with money, even terrorism.

Because, Chechnian terrorist can do everything to a civilian group, children or women doesn't matter. Because they believe they have the right to do exactly the same things that Russian state terrorism do to their people.

Read a news report out of Iran that said Russia had threatened Saudi Arabia and Pakistan with retaliation if Syria is attacked. Why Pakistan I'm not sure but it was interesting.
 
With how hard Russia is pushing I am starting to wonder if America will go ahead with strikes just to not appear weak against Russia in front of the world.
 
I don't think we sent them the chemical weapons.

I do think the rebels have the most motive to use them however.

When Obama said that Chemical weapons were a red line light bulbs went off in the heads of every Syrian rebel.

Look @ Iraq if Obama was hell bent on invading Syria he could have done it by now by simply lying. Obama just doesn't want to back peddle and look weak. **** him for that. He can't admit(without political fallout) that the rebels are likely responsible because we have been aiding them and condemning Bashar All-Asswad.

My hope(it will not happen) is that tomorrow morning Obama will hold a press conference where he says...

"The US is officially washing her hands of Syria. Asswad is an Asswad however this is currently a lose lose situation for all who get involved. Within the rebel forces there are some legitimate democratically minded individuals however they are not representative of the rebel forces. We would be willing to have diplomatic talks with Asswad to normalize relations and trade once a ceasefire has been observed in Syria."
 
This is not about chemical weapons. This is about economics, it always is.

FWIW, driving home yesterday I was thinking about all the politicking going on in the USA. I had to laugh at the role reversal and dogged loyalty of it all. The president, who won a Nobel Prize for peace is about to start his second war, this one because chemical weapons killed indiscriminatley--but he isn't concerned that the drone strikes he orders also kill and maim indriscrimently, or that the missles he fires into Syria will kill and destroy indiscriminatley as well.

The republican talking heads who all lined up behind the Bush wars are falling over themselves to criticize OBama.

The Demo talking heads who opposed the Bush wars are now defending their guy and saying that this time it is different--its a noble war.

There is no sense of right or wrong only right vs left and it doesn't matter who is in charge the US spreads war around the world.

Meanwhile the President supports the Syrian rebels 'rights' to reform the regime through violence, while at the same time he is authorizing billions to spy on Americans who might not agree with him.

And the Christian Right is so excited to see a possible Armegeddon but mad as hell that it is democrat starting it.

If the consequences were not so grave I would be laughing my head off at the idiocy of it all.

And every enemy of the USA who may want to instaigate a battle or a showdown between the USA and Russia, or Iran. Or every 'friend' of the USA who wanted to escalate the Syrian issue but needed to push the USA to become involved.

It was an open invitation to the whole world, and one of the stupidist things I've ever seen.
