I was a bit suprised to find out we didn't deal Koufos to Minessota. But after his summer league performance looks like we are we going to give Koufos another shot. Does that mean Fesenko is gone?

Been wondering the same myself. I think it depends on him getting other offers. If he does, I doubt we do much to match, but if we can get him for a million or so, I say we do it. With Memo still being a big ? it would be good to keep Fes around.

He is a big physical C, this might be his last shot to prove himself. I like him and think he can be good. Besides he will come cheap so yeah the Jazz will sign him.

Well, the good news is Portland can only offer him their biannual exception.
I think Fesenko needs to be re-signed. I value him higher than Kosta. Fesenko is the only true center on the roster (Koufos, Memo and Jefferson are all PF's playing the 5). He's big and physical and gives us something the others don't - namely, the ability to lay somebody out on the court. Additionally, Fes showed some promise in the playoffs. Koufos has only shown some offensive promise in the summer league.

Unless/until Memo is back at 100%, Fes can play 10-15 mins per game. And frankly, unless/until someone overpays him, why not sign a big guy who can knock heads.

I think the Jazz will be choosing either Fes or KK, but not both. KK is the easier guy to keep. I'd prefer Fes. If it was up to me, I'd float KK to see what teams would offer. I might even offer Fes to a Cap Space team to sign Fes back. But being over the tax, I don't see us carrying both those guys.

Fes is the better choice. Smart move now would be to offer Fes something like 2 @ 3 if they really care, or just wait out the process and hope to get him back for the QO if they don't.

Fes is a brute down low. With some added minutes and a little direction, he can turn into a serviceable player.

We better ****ing re-sign Fes. Two years, 3M. I'd say 2M but I want to make sure we lock him up. Seriously, 7'1", 300 pounds, agile, fairly athletic and tough. There's a ton of upside there, especially since his immaturity issues and substance abuse problems after three years in the league have to be on their downward slope.

Great but he doesn't even know Kosta has been traded yet. When the news broke it was 3 in the morning in Ukraine. Fesenko_44 is another fake twitter account like the last one.

He had like 12 rebounds in the final game of the season. He keeps people out of the paint. He's a threat to score around the basket. He's a threat to inadvertently hurt people. We've invested 3 years to teach him to play a bit. Why not keep him?
