What's new

Winning other "Tank" teams isn't something to be proud of

Winning against a team that you should beat on the road is good news. We are still going to have a bad record, it's all good.

2008-2009 - Worst team, SAC - .207 WIN PCT
2009-2010 - Worst team, NJN - .146 win pct
2010-2011 - Worst team, MN - .207 win pct
2011-2012 - Worst team, CHA - .106 win pct
2012-2013 - Worst team so far, MIL - .200 win pct

2012-2013 - Jazz - .250 win pct.

Even the crappiest teams still win a few games during the season. Milwaukee is winning one game out of every five, the Jazz one out of every four. The Jazz are going to win games this season and I'm still optimistic about finishing with one of the worst records despite the odd win streak or road win. However, their recent play with Burke and Marvin is disconcerting from a tank perspective.

If only Kanter had played 40 minutes and then it would have been a good win and worth it? Any win right now in tank mode is scary, but you try too hard man. Way too obvious

In a year with historically disparate conferences and perhaps the greatest tank off in league history, being the worst in the Western Conference might only assure, say, the 11th pick. The Jazz have to do better. Or, um, worse.

Yeah, but the east has to play like 30 more games against each other.
