who has solved that problem besides the Spurs and Indy?
We weren't gonna fix that problem at 23.

Just kidding.

Love the pick. We now have legit rotations at the bigs, the wings, PG. We have a few guys who can fill in at different spots depending on need/injuries.

I'd rather not solve the problem. This team is still a couple years out, at minimum. This young team is going to lose a lot unless the young vets make huge leaps.

I hope they fill out the roster with either mini-camp invites or use the cap space to acquire more draft picks.

Hayward is more athletic imo.
Also hayward has almost 20 lbs on hood
 
At this point, I doubt Hood is really better than Hayward at anything. He might be in the future, but that is far from guaranteed. Hayward is better than the board gives him credit for.

Rodney Hood is a better shooter than Gordon Hayward.

I remember hantlers talking about him being horrible defensively.

The fact we got him at 23 when alot of mocks had him at 14 or 15 makes me feel good about it
 
Hood is a great pick.
A 6' 8" spot up 3 point shooter who can get his shot off.
Jazz also have Eric Murphy. A 6' 10" spot up 3 point shooter.
Should free up Favors and Kanter to get shots in the post.

Hood shot 42 percent from three point range. I am pretty sure Gordon hasn't done that but Maybe he has. I love this pick because Hood was slotted as high as 8th in some mocks and no lower than 20 so the Jazz got real value here. Jazz now have depth at SF and someone who can shoot coming off the bench. At this point we don't know if hayward is coming back.
 
Hood is a SF but he can play the two in certain situatons. He dribbles and passes well enough to play the two. Kinda of like Burks can play the PG but just in certain situations. His real position is at SF.
