Tell me about it - game starts at 10:30 on the EC. Try telling your boss in NJ you're coming in late to work because you're up late watching the Utah Jazz game. They'd probably drug test me right there.

I've long thought that would be a lousy part of leaving Utah and moving east. At least the Jazz are in the Mountain and not Pacific time zone. That would be even worse for EC fans.

9pm on the EC is actually a perfect start time for me. My son is in grade school, so he's usually in bed by 8:30 and my wife usually turns in shortly after that. I get to watch the whole game in peace and be in bed before midnight. Although lately I have to admit I'm so amp'ed up after games I have a hard time settling in.

I get to watch the whole game in peace and be in bed before midnight. Although lately I have to admit I'm so amp'ed up after games I have a hard time settling in.

Tbh even living in Utah I usually only start watching the games around 8:30 or so myself for the reason you mentioned. I haven't been able to pass on my Jazz obsession to my kids yet, so they usually just beg me to watch something else if I try watching the games in real time.
