WOJ: Korver to Jazz for Burks and 2 second rounders

Is there a plumlee or Zeller available... I'm thinking the white wash unit of Grayson, Joe, Kyle, Niang (not sure on nationality... don't @ me), and a Zeller/Plumlee.

That is Utah AF!

Korver will space the floor and open things up for the 2nd unit. Maybe he'll play 15-20 mins/night and get Ingles some rest.

We can play Exum, Royce or Grayson at the 2.

I hope he shoots 40% from 3

He's shooting 46% from 3 this year. That's pretty amazing given Lebron left and open shots are harder to come by. It puts more pressure on Rubio, DM, and Ingles to create shots since Korver can do absolutely none of that, but I think they can handle it.

Such a horrible trade!! Just don’t get the logic?

Here is the logic... we are *** at shooting... Korver is literally one of the best in the world at shooting... we got him at a low price... You sir are an idiot if you don't get it.

It was clear Alec Burks wasn't a good fit for Quin's system years ago. This is way overdue, but they couldn't get rid of him before because of his contract. Exum is probably next to go.

This is the same little bitch who air mailed games last time he was in Utah **** him. I’m going to buy some tickets just so I can boo his ****ing ***. I’ll boo him till he gets the **** out!

Last year Korver was 4th among SGs in RPM... DM was 5th.

Guys that can shoot off of screens like he can provide all sorts of issues. We don't have that guy right now. Adding an extreme pressure point away from the rim will change things in a meaningful way.

Freedom of movement means you can't tackle the guy... so in our altitude guys gonna have to chase his *** all night. This is a great deal at a low cost... thumbs up here.

I'm glad Alec got some proper burn with our team before we sent him away, and I'm glad we paid him some money instead of spurning his talent.

Cleveland's team is his for the taking-- Hood's been sucking wang and Cedi isn't ready to seize reigns on that team, maybe Alec can do some damage in the weaker conference.

Similar to everyone else here, I'll always be rooting for him. Good dude. Best of luck, Alec!

As for the trade-- it's just interesting. I think Alec didn't really fit with the team, and I suppose we had no interest retaining him. I hope we can get two good years out of Korver.
Hoods been solid this year.

Trey Burke and Enes Kanter are doing well in NY by the way (though Burke's DBPM is beyond abysmal). Will be interesting to see how Burks does in a "freer" situation like Cleveland.

Korver shoots 47.6% on catch-and-shoot 3s this season. 9th in players that take 2.5 or more a game.

The Jazz are dead last in catch-and-shoot 3pt% (31%). This fills a huge need.

Its like we addressed a glaring weakness... yet people freaking out.
