WOJ: Korver to Jazz for Burks and 2 second rounders

Also, we can re-sign DWill now. Wouldn’t be too opposed to Okur, either. I mean, who would you rather have at the end of the bench — Okur or Bradley?

DWill, Korver, Okur, and Millsap would all be pretty tight on this team, even as presently constituted.

**** Boozer and AK.

Someone needs to pull a Thibodeau.

AB was gone anyway InnBred

Korver will absolutely help out issues

AB is likely glad to get away from this sinking ship. But anyone who thinks Korver is actually going to help this team is delusional. I can see it being of benefit from a financial point of view, though.

ya AB can go bonkers and score 19 ppg on a crap team that loses every game all good

Yeah, I could see Ingles/Korver/Royce lineups at the 2-4 being something that *could* work. Royce is a much better defender than Crowder and with two elite shooters we wouldn't need Crowder's willingness to shoot as much.

I had the same thought watching this game. Mitchell-Korver-Ingles-O'Neal-Gobert could be a really good lineup for us offensively, and I don't think it would be too bad defensively either.

The trade also feels like a bit of a message... like hey guys if we can’t figure some things out we might switch out some parts. It’s a close group and I think they want to stay together... might motivate them to play with more thrust or whatever the hell they call it.

I think I agree that the main motivation here is to try to give some motivation to the top 6. If he can pass on one of lifes most important lessons to Ingles it'll be worth it. In the wise words of AI "Shooters shoot".

So this trade showed me that we likely don't have interest in George Hill. If we did, we would have tried to work out a bigger deal.

Still think Rubio is our weakest link.

Korver still moves extremely well at 37 YO. And he gets great height on his jump shots.

Anyone remember that lengthy article about Korver and his friends training with some Navy SEAL badass or something and doing some insane challenge every summer? In the article I think they swam from the coast of Cali to Catalina Island. Korver was the baddest dude in the group. He trains harder than Karl Malone.
