I don't agree that the Pop fits. Pop not only had the best team he did it in a way that has never been done before. Pop didn't win it the last two times with superstars in their prime like the other guys did. He did it with possibly the best coaching and stargazing ever.

Riley, and Phil i'll give you that but thats 3 out of 30.

But no one expected anything less from Popovich. It was just more of the same. As with Sloan.

I'm really not comfortable with all this attention the JAZZ is getting preseason.. teams will be ready for them when the actual season starts.

Give me a break, its not like teams forgot about the Jazz being in the league, but because grantland said that we might be better then expected they are now going to start scouting us. All teams strongly scout all other teams, period.

The year Sloan coached a Jazz team with Ben Handlogten and Carlos Arroyo to 42 wins didn't net him COTY I'm thinking Quin will need to win 72 games to win COTY.
What Hubie Brown did with Memphis was also unexpected. But ye, Jerry Sloan should have won COTY as "experts" predicted the Jazz would be the worst team in the league and had a shiot at being the worst ever.

Jazz have got to get the 8th seed (at least) for Q to get the COTY award. If they do....he is a very serious candidate.
Agree. Hornacek fell short of COTY because Phoenix faded in the last month. Make the playoffs and I think Snyder would get serious consideration.

This is something I'd imagine a loser would say.

Grow a pair. I love it. Bring it on. Means things are getting better

Cavs and Jazz showing difference between preseason and regular season. Fact that their new offenses are being scouted seems to matter.
