Josh Okogie had another poor game, shooting a ghastly 1-of-10 from the field and only providing marginal resistance to Utah’s Mitchell. He only grabbed two rebounds and dished out a single assist in 30 minutes of play.
Great game from Wiggins, we just don’t have the bodies to compete right now
Jazz were just too good down the stretch, we defended the PnR pretty poorly which led to a heap of 3’s.
Good to see Wig have a nice game, and players like Bayless and Deng have shown that this team is playing with a heap of heart even after missing 4 rotational players.
I dunno really how to feel about this one, disappointed we lost but if we won it would’ve almost been a miracle

Why do we have to be in a division with so many great centers? Kat has a tough matchup every division game.
Wiggins great game was wasted on horrible team defense! Also how does your best player with 5 guys out only takes 10 shots! Ridiculous playoff hopes are pretty much non existent
I agree the defense was awful, but so were a number of wolves. The Jazz had 7 players in double figures. The Wolves had Kat, Wiggins, Deng, and Bayless. The Wolves were let down by Gibson, Saric, Okogie, Terrel, and to a degree (although he did hit two threes) Gorgui. Honestly, without Roco or 1-3 on the PG depth chart, some defenses lapses will happen. But, the power forward position really let down tonight. This team is likely out of playoff contention with tonights loss, (as stated above, 4 games back with 30 to go.) Even if you cling to hope that we may still make it to the dance at the 7 or 8 seed, we need to make some trades before the deadline. If we don’t we will see our trade bait turn into pumpkins, and pretty much ensure that next season will be worse than this one.
It just seemed inevitable. The Wolves would get back in it a and then give up a couple of threes. On several occasions a Mitchell strolled into the paint, drawing all kinds of help, which would result in an open corner three for Crowder, who seemed to be shooting a lot better than I remember or Korver who will kill you even when you’re on him.
Mitchell murdered Bayless and kind of smoked Okogie too. With the injuries the Wolves just have no answer defensively.
