Worst coaching decisions ever tonight

Bad decisions-
WATSON!
Not using Big 3

Also real disappointed in Burks, Favors, and Kanter. I'm hoping that they pick it up and that Kanter quits doing his Bully move. It's not a good go to move. The past few games I haven't seen dominance from Favors in the same way he did in the Spurs playoff series. He needs to pick it up in whatever minutes he gets.

Not once did he go to what was our best lineup the last few games. Earl Watson was terrible. The run they made to cut the 15 points down quickly were mostly to do with Jefferson and Watson yet it's Burks, Kanter and Favors who pay the price. Absolutely pathetic.
.
No adjustments to counter an obvious flaw in our lineup. Starters came back in with 9 minutes left and were spent by the end. Favors and Kanter did not play well but it would help if they did not have to play with Watson. Who is not respected on offense and who is just plain terrible.
.
This may have been his most pathetic coaching job yet.

What's the point. He dominates? He logs 16 mins and is then told to sit his *** down.

The point is he dominates and gets more minutes. That's how he got the start in the Spurs game.
I understand he needs more minutes but today he was a world athlete up against a Dleaguer who has been in the NBA one year less than him and Ivan had the better game. Even Zaza had it going against Kanter.

And today as much as I hate it becAuse theyre not in our future, Al and Paul had it going more than the young guys.

The reason Favors and Kanter regress is because their confidence or swag goes down the toilet because when they play well they dont get rewarded.you ever teach a puppy to shake? when they do something right, you reward them. Its not so different with young players.Ty gives them no reason to believe he has their back. They know his loyalty is to the vets because Ty is a coward when coaching ,afraid to do something that requires any risk, therefore being horrible at developing our young core.

I'm ok with losing games if we play hard and try to win, or if we give minutes to our young core so they can develop and get confident. OKC had some bad years before they got good. Portland looks hot right now and they had some bad years as well. Give more mins to Kanter, Favors, Hayward and Burks. If we lose but play tough its not as painful as seeing our vets, who won't be on our team hopefully next year, hogging all the minutes.

When the Hawks cut our 15 point lead down to 8, Corbin doesn't call a timeout to stop their momentum and get the team refocused. The very next play, we turn it over and the Hawks were pretty much unstoppable the rest of the way.

When they cut the lead to 8 there were only 48 seconds left in the quarter. With 48 seconds left we should have had 2 of the next 3 possessions. Corbin couldn't have predicted Foye turning the ball over. In any case, we ended the quarter up 8 so I'm not sure what difference a timeout would have made.

Maybe a good hc could have settled the team down and the to by Foye might not have happened, eh? Why should he not call a to to stop the other team's run? Just because Ole Jer didn't do it that way? How about a guy with 4 rings like Popovich?

Foye had 40+ minutes adn Kanter and Burks had 7 each. That is all that really needs to be said.

And maybe Corbin calls a TO and Foye or someone else turns it over anyway, eh? Who knows what would have happened? I don't think a TO was necessary with 48 seconds left but that's just my opinion. I love it though. You create a total hypothetical and then support it by speculating what Popovich would have done.
