(worth the thread) WHAT TRADE COMES NEXT?

I think this deserves its own thread.

Jefferson, Millsap, AK are all on the block, IMO.

Anybody have any ideas about young Cs that we could acquire?
Any chance we can land Curry?

The Jazz need to swing for a third young piece (Favors, Hayward, ??)

I think the Jazz keep Kirilenko.

I've run it over and over, and the only thing that truly makes sense to me vis a vis his miserable performance and the compounding contract is that Utah has steadily been making money on him internationally.

Millsap and Bell for Wallace.

Then sign Eddy Curry to a contract for the end of the year as a try out.

Agreed it's kind of redundant, but I thought they preferred Curry over Monta?

No. They have stated that they prefer Monta and he is untouchable. Rumors floated around that they took offers on Curry to see what they could get bit denied it publicly.

I'd love Wallace but it sounds like multiple teams want him and no rumors involving the jazz.

Indian is looking for a power forward. Granger would be great. Or Hibbert.

Or Harris plus this years first for Curry.

I think both of those Indiana players are pretty untouchable. I just posted a trade for Paul George ^^
Curry, AS I'VE STATED MULTIPLE TIMES, would be dope as ****.

The Utah Jazz shocked the NBA on Wednesday by sending Deron Williams to the New Jersey Nets for Devin Harris, Derrick Favors and a couple of first-round draft picks.

The move means the Jazz are essentially rebooting midseason. Are they done dealing?

While the Jazz don't want to dismantle the entire team, they are listening for offers for everyone, according to a Jazz source.

That should be music to the ears of a number of teams. Today I've spoken with several GMs who put in calls to the Jazz within minutes of hearing about the Williams trade.

Who are they after? In particular, Paul Millsap and Andrei Kirilenko are coveted.

The Jazz won't just give either player away. They don't think Derrick Favors is ready to play heavy minutes at the 4, and they want to bring him along slowly. They also want to give new coach Tyrone Corbin a team he can compete with. But if the Jazz can get back players and cap savings, they might be willing to deal.

The Jazz have a payroll of $75.2 million, putting them roughly $4.9 million over the luxury tax line this season. So if they can make trades that get them under the $70.3 million tax threshold, that would be a big incentive. In terms of what else they want in return, the Jazz are looking for a dynamic 2-guard and additional help up front.

While it's "unlikely," according to a Jazz source, that Utah makes a big trade involving Millsap and/or Kirilenko, there are other, smaller moves possible as well. For instance, sources say the team has interest in Memphis big man Hasheem Thabeet.
