Would Bell request a trade this offseason?

This is not a wish, but a genuine question I have. The guy has been quoted recently as being "frustrated". Maybe with his injury. Or losing. Or something else. But the guy came here because we were awinning team, coached by Sloan whom he liked and we also had Deron. Now looking at the direction this team is taking maybe he requests KOC to look to trade him? His contract is not bad. If we can package a couple of those picks we have along with his contract maybe we get something decent in return?

Not that KOC needs to wait for Bell to approach him.The Jazz could quietly dangle him out there and see if there any takers, if we throw in a pick or two.

There will always be teams like the Mavs and Celtics who will need some veteran guy off the bench for playoff pushes.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't think Bell would make a stink and unless he's getting us something we want, the worst possible option is a buyout.

I don't think he would publicly demand it.

I didnt say that he would. Even Deron or AK did'nt demand to be traded publicly. But I can imagine a quiet offseason conversation between him and KOC where he requests a trade, if possible, since he expected to be joining a contending team, not a rebuilding one. This would be a win-win situation for everybody.

I actually dont mind Bell as a backup SG, provided we could trade Miles or somebody else(Okur?) along with picks for an Afflalo or Young type SG.

Personally I'd like to keep him as a backup SG for next year, with Hayward starting if he's ready. I like Bell better than CJ at SG off the bench, or Price.
With 2 1st round picks in the draft very likely, almost asssuredly at least 1 would be a SG.

Here is his quote, its clear to me now that he is only shooting so poorly because thats what Corbin wants:

Asked about his limited impact on the Jazz’s offense, Bell replied, "I said when I came here I would do whatever people asked me to so. And that hasn’t changed.

"I don’t have to like it every night. But I will do whatever is asked of me to the best of my ability."

I think Jazz should trade every player for a first round draft choice this summer and play an all rookie team. How many records could they create with that, huh?

...who's gonna trade for Bell??? He's virtually worthless. He can't hit open jump shots...his defense is a thing of the past....and he makes too much money. The Jazz will keep him, or eat his contract.

bell wasn't that bad against the Celtics.
refs let Allen freaking elbow and punch Bell in the face multiple times without a whistle
if Bell even got near Allen dribbling the ball it was a foul.
jazz fanz should be mad at the refs, not bell.

I saw everybody on the Jazz brick shots and have lapses on D, not just Bell.
but on the whole they played well enough that they deserved the win. refs won, not the celtics.

AK very loudly demanded a trade and stuck to that demand for months. He even seemed to imply he'd take a $0 buyout when he saw Fisher walk.

...we've been mad at the refs ever since Dick Brevetta hosed us in game 6 of that finals against the Bulls! When Brevetta dies....many Jazz fans will be at the funeral...just to make sure he's dead!
