Would Bell request a trade this offseason?

Here is the video from a Celtics blog where Utah's struggle in transition defense is being autopsied.
In fact, not much can be put on Bell except probably first one which was assessed as flopping

What the heck are you talking about, putting that on Bell? Referencing the first couple seconds of the video, it wasn't flopping, Allen whacked Bell in the head with his left elbow, possibly his right wrist too.

5 or 10 seconds before the video starts, Bell had position under the basket, and Allen got into a crouch and drove his entire body into Bells gut to move him, combined with a couple more intentional hard blows to the head. No foul called. Did the Celtics blog say that those hits were flops too?

You try playing sharp defense 3 seconds after whoozy from taking a shot to the gut and 3 or 4 blows to the head. 5 point swing there, determining rebound and open 3 pointer.

Celtics got more calls all game, and yet the refs spent half the 4th quarter listening to Doc Rivers sob. I think one ref was ready to give Doc a hug and buy him a beer. So they spent the last 5 minutes looking for what Doc and other Celtics told them to look for, and looking for every opportunity to give "make up calls" to help the Celtics even more.

I think the worst play Bell made all game was that wide open Pierce 3. AK switched on to Allen because Bell wasn't back in time to pick up his man. AK is actually an intelligent basketball player, knowing you can't leave Ray Allen open on the perimeter for 3 seconds. Bell then inexplicably ran straight over to pick up Allen. With AK standing right there. Leaving Pierce wide open for the dagger 3.

Then the astounding 2 points he made all game, and general incompetency at being able to bother any of Allen's shots, whether 'beat up' before hand or not...yeah it was a bad bad game from Raja.

What you don't talk about is the picks and other things Raja did to set other people up to score. He was doing a lot of dirty work out there and not getting any glory for it. Bell is doing just fine.

The Celtics have a blog where they talk about how the opposing players supposedly flopped when they were actually getting assaulted.

The Jazz have a fan board where the fans take turns picking one player after another and ripping him apart relentlessly like a pack of rabid dogs.

cjs55, I already admitted several times that Bell did not have a good game, but no other player was perfect either, and the refs stole the game.

Can we change the name of this thread to "Would Bell PLEASE ask for a trade this off season"?

To be fair, the Pierce 3 was not Bell's fault. Yes AK switched to Allen but if you watch carefully, Bell switched to Rondo to stop the ball and Harris should have been the one going out to Pierce. Instead, Harris just stood behind Bell and left Pierce wide open.
