1st can't do a SnT until after July 1st when free agency starts.
2nd no way in hell jazz trade a pick next year
3rd only way to get into the top 4 or 5 would be to trade a core 4 and burks straight up won't work.

Ok, stop thinking anal about the deadlines contracts periods, what you think the front office is gonna and not gonna do. I'm asking would u like to see him on the jazz, do you like what skills he brings to the court would be fit in with the jazz....

not for our first round pick for next year. That is what we are "anal" about. Trades can be made after the draft, players can be signed and traded for rights to guys just drafted, but the Jazz should NEVER trade their first round pick for next years draft.

I like oladipo but he doesn't bring a skill set the jazz are in great need of other then his defense. we can't take another under average shooter. I would rathe get bazz.

Xthren was comparing Shabazz and Oladipo saying he'd like Shabazz more because he's a better shooter. A is Shabazz and B is Oladipo.

Ummm... The jazz need elite perimeter defense in the WORST way. One could argue that is our biggest need.
I said it a while ago: Oladipo is my fav guy for the jazz.
And all available data in the last year tells us that Oladipo can shoot (including having good form and mechanics which matters).
I don't think the Jazz can get him without giving up a member of The Four and/or a draft pick which is probably too much. I think Oladipo would help the Kings a whole lot, but that's neither here nor there.
In his final 12 game of the season he shot 31% from deep.
That stretch marked his highest # of attempts over a period of games, and was by far his worst. Flukey shooting season.
Would I be happy getting him? Yeah of course. I don't really want to trade up to get him. I would be happy trading up to get Porter.
