Would Jerry work for Shaq??

Wow. I like Shaq (post Lakers) but there's no way I see him even being half the GM Jordan is, which says quite a bit.

...Shaq would go out of his way to bring in the most overpaid "hip hoppers" in NBA history, thinking that's the only way to compete in today's NBA! He would, in fact, be worse than Michael Jordan....and nobody thought that was possible! Oh, wait! What about Isaiah Thomas!!!

Assuming Shaq actually learned something on the path to his PhD, he's probably a step or 2 ahead of the other ex-NBA stars who went the management route; don't know if any of them continued their Ed or not.
Shaq does have the pedigree of having been in and won multiple NBA championships, which is something Orlando's management is looking for.
If Shaq were to land the gig in Orlando, his first phone call would likely be to Phil Jackson, not Jerry Sloan...
Oh, and yes, for me, he's a very uninteresting TV personality...

He does have a PhD, I think that takes a brain a bit bigger than a pinball machine, no?

It wasn't commentary on his intelligence, I thought I was fairly clear about that.

Besides, a obtaining a PhD is more about time and motivation than actual intelligence (I'm pretty sure that statement is going to be misinterpreted...)

His brain is larger than this? Wow!

Shaq on TNT always seems like he's calculating what exactly to say and he seems like when he first opens his mouth, the words will be very interesting and wise.
But then you listen to him, you get the urge throw the remote at your TV.

I think Shaq has a smart basketball mind, I just find him incredibly boring on TNT.

....that statement lends me to believe YOU don't have much of a basketball mind! Shaq couldn't figure out the triangle offense in LA and admitted as much on a number of occasions! He had one basic basketball move....the BULL RUSH! He couldn't hit a free thrown to save his neck.....and despite making millions upon millions of dollars will probably be in the poor house within 5 years! I wouldn't trust him to manage a lemonade stand!

Exactly. He just seems really awkward and like that Charles, Kenny, and Ernie don't actually like him.
