The emotional part of me would be disappointed.
But knowing that we likely be 7th or 8th spot in the West which means getting eliminated in the first round by Warriors or Spurs, the logical part of me actually rather stays clear of those bottom seeding and get a pick.
We should have trade G-time before the deadline tbh
Look, Hay's a nice player, but is he worth losing all this sleep over?
I agree.
I mean sure it will suck if he leaves after all the playoff wins he has carried the jazz to, but really is he worth the 30 million he is gonna get?
Fixed.
And no, that's why Utah should "DWill" him.
30 mill for Hay would be outrageous given that I think that he's pretty much reached his ceiling. Outrageous.
I would be a little disappointed. But not greatly, This playoff chase has been good for this roster making or not does not take that away. Since I don't think they have a shot in hell of winning more than one game in the playoffs I find making it there minimally beneficial to this team. The emotional part of me would be disappointed.

How do you feel about potentially missing out on playoff this particular season?
Up until recently, I would have said I'd be disappointed. However, at this point, I won't be disappointed at all. Watching our team freeze up against GS wasn't a big deal, as they are a team that could end up with a better record than the best MJ team, and that can be intimidating to pretty much anyone. However, watching them freeze up in the same way against the Clippers' B-team, I think it's pretty clear that we aren't quite ready to battle in playoff basketball, and I'm ok with that.Yes disappointed. I want to see our guys in the postseason. It's been too long.
