Chargers Jazz Angels

Brandon Rush, Utah Jazz: Rush quietly shot better than 41 percent in each of his past four full seasons, and enters the final year of his deal while coming off an ACL injury that limited him to just two games last season. The Thunder probably wouldn't need to give up Jackson to land him, but a draft pick and/or another young piece (such as Perry Jones or Andre Roberson) could be enough to entice the rebuilding Jazz to move their veteran on an expiring deal.

I don't hate it. Jackson I really liked coming out of college. His shot has for sure been off but he isn't worse than Lucas and we need the help. Seems to make a lot of sense. But would really bother Trey.

Plc needs a pg right now... So if Westbrook comes back healthy I could see this going down!!

I am not a Jackson fan or a lamb fan but a pick and perry and/or Roberson would interest me. then the jazz turn their cap space into 4 first rounders. impressive

Interesting. I really like Rush, but we could probably get someone as good (and cheaper) in the draft. Add to that someone with potential upside (stretch 4) in Perry Jones and I'd seriously consider it. Seems like a fairly fair trade considering OKC could use Rush right now more than we could.

why would anyone trade from Rush (except as cap filler like Utah did) when no one has seen him play since he blew out his knee?

Neither Jones nor Roberson has done much to impress me thus far. I'd take either one, but with a pick, not instead of a pick.

I'm weary of trading away a skill set that, when it's on the floor, makes the game easier for our youth. Guys who spread the floor and can be counted on for defense are very important to the development project we are undergoing.

Personally, I can't wait for Rush and Marvin to get healthy because I want them to play for the Jazz.

Marvin is an above-average defender. His set shot must be respected.

I know he has that reputation (good shooter) but I remember lots of clanks on open looks.

Maybe stats tell a different story as I could be wrong due to my vet bias last year

And he's not a ball-hog, he can be on the court as the 5th option and let everyone else get their touches.

Somehow the term stretch 4 as exploded over the past two years. You could argue that there are more stretch fours, but there's always been the Sam Perkins, Rasheed Wallaces, Dirk Nowitzkis and Antoine Walkers. You should check out the google images hits for stretch 4.
