If I were high on Knight and low on Walker, I wouldn't do this trade. I'm not completely sold that Knight > Walker, so I would look at this trade. If somebody said you can have Walker and Marshon Brooks, or Brandon Knight, I would take Walker and Marshon Brooks.

So an inferior, score first point guard and a backup wing to a starting point guard is what you'd rather have? And if Knight and Walker are closer, it's because Knight is worse than his stock indicated, not because Walker raised his value.

In this draft, #2>>>>>>>>>#3. You would have to throw in something else to get #2. I've heard tons of announces/nba guys say this is basically a two-person draft. So of course it takes more to get #2 than #3, especially this year.

And tons of draft analysts are saying it's a three man draft.

EDIT: And McGee, who I'm not as high on as most, is still a lot more than the difference in the second and third pick in this draft.

I don't think Walker is currently inferior. What he did at Uconn was remarkable. And who knows if Knight can develop into what we want him to. The whole reason behind this trade is that I basically see these two as a toss up. I don't know who will be better in 10 years. Depends on work ethic, injuries, drive, motivation, etc...

So if someone offers me Marshon Brooks, and basically makes a toss up decision for me, I'm doing it.

But if you think Knight >>>>>>>>> Walker this trade would make absolutely 0 sense. So our guess boils down to our opinions on Knight.

Also if you the Jazz want Kanter at 3 this makes no sense.

If the Jazz brass think Walker or Jimmer > Knight, this trade makes sense and may be the best you can get.

Who is the 3rd man? Kanter? Knight? I thought there was debate on that, unlike the 1st 2 picks.

I considered this a feasible trade earlier but not anymore. Knight will be gone at 6. BB looks like a huge risk from the recent videos, and JV might not be able to come over for 3 years. And you don't even want to get me started on Vesely. There simply isn't anyone at 6 that is worth it.

Then lets just take Kanter and not worry about this if it's a 3 man draft. Then take a PG at 12. No shortage of PG's in this draft.

I agree with this except you also take a swing at BPA at #12 as well, regardless of position.

I am so excited for the NBA Draft to finally arrive...so I don't have to see threads likes this for awhile.

#3 for #6 and JaVale McGee .. yes.

Will Knight be still available at 6? I don't think so. But taking Jimmer at 6 might not be so bad compared to taking him at 3.

Then Singleton at 12.
