Jazz get Darren Collison and unprotected 1st round draft pick

Pacers get paul Millsap

we'd save money, get a reliable Back up PG and have a chance to land something in the draft

Collison does average 13.5 points a game, 5 assists and he is way cheap. i'd certainly consider it.

We get Collison, our PG of the future, once Harris' contract is expired.

We get another 1st round draft pick to package together with other assests to move up and get a Swingman to compliment Hayward and Burks.

not too mention that according to 82 games.com millsap is the 8th worst defender in the league. he gives up the 8th most amount of points. that is not exactly a great big man

Not referring to the trade, but this draft is an exception to the late teens comment. It's deep through the whole first round .. espectially to 20.

Doesn't matter how much cap space they have. Trades still have to be relatively equal (think within 25%) to work.

If it was a top 10 pick in 2012, then perhaps. If we're going to trade Millsap, I think it would be wise to do so in order to get our future PG, but I'm not sure Collison is that guy...ideally I would want Holiday or Knight.

Sorry, no way they give up on George already. I would be willing to bet they wouldn't even trade George and a 1st for Millsap let alone Collison and George.

Locke's brought this up a few times, but he's thrown out two different numbers (140% & 150%). I do know that the new CBA has increased it, but just not sure which figure it is.
