Yup. not sure what the NBA accomplished from the lockout other then pissing off the fans. i guess we'll be doing this again sooner then later.I would give a lot less. Rumors are teams are black balling Brooklyn and Orlando because they are spitting in the face of the new CBA. We are still moving towards 4-5 super teams and nobody wants to help Brooklyn get there.
What does this mean? Orlando will be screwed, and we will lose another year of basketball the second this CBA expires. Hopefully the owners will stick to their guns this time.
Marshon finishes 0-10!
I would take Brooks. He is long, athletic, and can score. BUT, the GSW pick is too much. Brooks was a #25 1st round pick. I would offer a Top 20 protected 1st round pick for him. If the Nets are willing to that deal with their old friends, the Jazz, then I would do it.
A future unit of Burks, Hayward, Favors, Kanter, Brooks, and TBD PG would be a lot of potentially good young players.
He is an athlete who cannot play defense or pass effectively. Also he's smaller than Burks or Hayward. I see no need to make a trade for a chucker like Brooks.
Why? For hell sakes we have Burks who is a better player. Brooks already thinks he's a superstar. He's the type of guy that is going to leave Ut. The first chance he gets. Does this nut job even understand the the word team, because he's all about one person himself. We call Al a black hole, Brooks is black hole jr.
no way.

Funny that this is just how Locke describes Burks...
