Would you trade Bogey for Lauri?

One of the few(probably only) NBA comparisons Jalen Rose's got right on draft day. He's basically Channing Frye who can do nothing but shoot 3s. Anything exceed 10mil a year would be an overpay.

Maybe we’ll get lucky, Chris Paul will get hurt, the Suns will suck, and we can trade Butler, someone else and a 1st for Mikal Bridges who the Suns will decide won’t be able to be re-signed as Paul and Booker already have been and Ayton will soon enough and takes precedent.

Just trade bogey for bridges and crowder if they suck.
Btw yes I’d trade bogey for lauri… I dunno why I like the guy so much but I do.

Lauri gives me strong Trey Lyles vibes. I wouldn't touch him with anything but a minimum, and not a multi-year minimum.

I would do it. I think his youth, shot, and explosives helps. In two years I think he helps alot. It is funny to say but Lauri paired with Gobert could be a better defensive presence than Bogey and Gobert.

No. This is not a trade you make if your a contending team. If we were in rebuild mode then it would be worth looking into.

If possible, I would rather trade the Favors TPE and Dok - separate transactions for Lauri at the qualifying offer. We have Whiteside and the Bulls is looking for a backup defensive center.

We literally can’t do it at all.

You could technically do it if trade all the scrubs and sign and trade Ersan. The Bulls would want Dok.

Oni 1.7
Hughes 1.7
Brantley 1.7
Dok 2
Ersan SnT 3

For
Lauri
Lol.

That’s interesting. You tell him to take it then give him an extension as soon as you are able. That would be the play. His QO is a 1/9M deal.
Still couldn’t do it. Would have to wait until 12/15 or whatever the date is.

Right. And absorbable in the Favors TPE.

I think it’s entirely possible if not more than plausible he takes the QO.

And remember how good he looked until bad coaching got to him. He needs a good fit.

He's a 42% 3 pt shooter when 6+ feet open. He would make the offense sizzle and space the floor. He could play 3, 4, 5 on offense.

I would trade all our scrubs, Dok and SnT Ersan to pull it off. But, we would have to resign more scrubs and the tax bill would be large but I think the offense would be slightly more potent with another option to play 5 out

When Ingles retire, I think he can take his spot. His dribble drive game is better than Bogies - he has less turnovers. Better athlete too. I think 3/4 is what he can play actually.

Markannen taking the Niang, Ersan, Juwan, Oni, Brantley minutes and releaving some minutes from Ingles, Bogey and Gobert (pretty dang versatile - just misused in Chicago) seems like an upgrade to me.

We don’t have Bird rights for Ersan.
