Who knows what he'll be but the kid was very, very impressive, especially in my opinion from a motor skills development and a fast twitch fiber standpoint. Some of the jump roping and basketball drills he did were insanely quick for someone at any age, let alone 12. Hopefully this kid keeps his head on, truly learns the game, and becomes a J-Kidd+ rather than a J-Will-.

Quick get this kid drafted #1 to the Clippers. Why wait?

I saw this last week. He's one of those kids that will be good until the rest of the kids catch up. He's not that athletic.

Might be true.

But even still, his ball handling skills are good enough to get him a starting PG position at most high schools in this country. Just as long as the kid has just a tiny desire to compete, play physical, and do what the coaches ask him to do.

I wouldn't say he's not athletic. Kid has some sick fast twitch fibers for his age. If you mean his hops, well, he's 12 and at that age not many kids have them. By the time they're 14 or 15, sure. But that two year difference is huge. That said, I agree that everyone else will sort of catch up, which could likely leave his ego shattered, especially if he doesn't truly love the sport and if he's just been pushed into it by his dad. Then, I'd guess he'd flame out and become a nobody. Unfortunately this dad probably is the single biggest factor in how this kid turns out. Who knows. Maybe he's fortunate.

Let's hope his body and athleticism keep up with his skill. That kid is ridiculously talented, but the NBA nowadays requires an even more ridiculous athlete just to be a part of the crowd.
